We bought in Westover in Arlington 15 years ago (a 20 min walk from Ballston). Nearly every house in my neighborhood (all detached single family homes) is listing today for over $1M, doubling our home value from when we bought it in 2006. With Amazon coming in, I just see that price range climbing even higher. Go North Arlington!

I'd never heard of an escalation clause. That is kind of an unfair advantage for that buyer vs others, isn't it?

Yea, I prefer homes that have been on the market for a hot minute.....That way I can go in, have them do minor remodeling and save thousands but get a house exactly he way I want it.
