    This is my official first day of owning the Masterbilt 560. I burned it in an din a seasoning cook of bratwurst. They were great! Great temp controls and easy operation. I bought it assembled from Big Box Store and had to do some troubleshooting on the wiring connections but it is easy to use.

    I think once you learn the ins and outs of that pit you'll learn to love it. Its a fun cooker to cook on. Enjoy and I'm looking forward to watching you cook.

    Looks like a really nice smoker. The hood might do a good job of installing, as it appears to be double walled. Even grills are becoming high tech electronics lol. When you move, you’ll need a trailer just for all your grills and smokers 😁👍. Be safe bro.

    I actually just took a quick look at these at the store and kept on walking... Had I not seen your video I would not known that it's actually kind of cool! But... When I use briquets (looked like briquets you added?) I normally wait until they are mostly if not all gray and the black is gone... Maybe it varies between brands but I could swear that I normally smell "something" when you're first lighting the briquets (without lighter fluid and not using instant match light)... What's your thought? And YES... I have oil and rags available all the time... It tremendously adds life to your bbq and smokers!

    Yo, I must say I’m Intrigued by these Grills. How do U stop the cooking process when Ur done grilling?? Do the loaded coals continue burning or can U shut it Off😎😎🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️??? Asking 4 A Friend.

    • @MrBigKid
      @MrBigKid  3 года назад +2

      Yep! You just insert the sliders which blocks the air flow, and it surprisingly starves the burning coals quickly!

    So I have a Smoke Vault that I use for smoking and a Weber Tailgate grill just for regular grilling but I miss me some charcoal and I really want to get one but the reviews on Amazon are full of complaints on assembly/build quality and ppl say the company has lousy customer service or practically none at all. Can you let us know if you’ve had any problems with yours? Also any thoughts on the Z Grills pellet smokers? Nice vid BTW!

    • @garvon1967
      @garvon1967 3 года назад

      Pellet smokers can’t hit the high temperature that the charcoal can. This grill works exactly like an iron forge.

    I am thinking about getting one. Would you have any reservations about using it on a wooden deck?

    • @MrBigKid
      @MrBigKid  4 года назад +1

      I don’t think it would be any riskier than any other grill. We used to keep a Weber kettle on the wooden deck :) the Masterbuilt is a cool grill!

    Think the 560 will hold 2 12 lb briskets?

    • @MrBigKid
      @MrBigKid  4 года назад +1

      12lbs is pretty compact in size, I think between the upper and lower grates you should be able to fit 2
