@Jason If you mean the chromed "box" you can see its original place if you check out a Virago 535 -98 picture. We just moved it and turned it.... Hope this answers your question and thanks for your comments :)
Hi Kamil, We sold the bike a few months ago and I'm sorry and don't remember exactly where we bought the shocks. The shocks are "cut down" and the suspension is only from the 3" springs underneath the sadel.... Good luck with your bike!
@Kamil Hi, we bought the rear shocks online. They were not for a specific bike as far as I know..... The bike is now sold. /Henrik The exhaust is "custom made" using the original pipes and then some modifications...
Many thanks for respond. Could you send me in massage a www adres of the shop where you bought it? I'm building my own 535 bobber and yours is an inspiration for me! End of bike is pretty high and I want to lower him as yours. Maybe you can give me a tip how to find those shocks? What are the diameteres which I'm have to find? You work is great!
hello could you tell us the main changes? I noticed that you changed the rear shock could give me information tional'm looking to buy and do the same modification to your bike, it was perfect, sorry my english so I do not speak Portuguese English only thank you.
Awsome bike!!! How did yo managed to put the airfilter there? Is it a costum air intake duct or something like that? There is so litle space between the carb and the air box...
mansefbl - Thanks 🖒. Its a standard solo seat and standard 3" springs. We did some cutting of the frame but no big deal to get the seat mounted. Good luck with your bike!
JUST CURIOUS I HAVE BOUGHT A 87 535 AND WHAT ARE THOSE VENT HOSES FOR THAT ARE JUST HANING OFF THE CARBS. IS IT SOME TYPE OF OVERFLOW. I CANT FIND ANYWHERE ON THE WEB THAT TALKS ABOUT IT AND WITH THIS BIKE I BOUGHT IT IS MISSING QUITE A FEW PIECES. ANY HELP OR COMMENTS WOULD BE GREAT. BEAUTIFUL BIKE BY THE WAY
Wrong answer before! Sorry. I'm not sure if the hose is there for some kind of overflow. The bike is sold so its hard for me to answer you. Good luck with your bike!

What kind of tank is that? It looks like a sportsters tank. Did you have to do much modification on the bottom of it to fit the frame?
