Hi, I have been too busy on Mondays to be able to watch live for a while now. I always watch later but it’s not quite as much fun. Hopefully I can catch a live again soon 😊

The grubs ate all my potatoes 🥔. I haven't grown potatoes since. I was in awe of the plant growth only to dig and find no treasure. I really need to try grow bags.

We have an area that is overrun with invasive stilt grass. It’s a wilder area but not easy to mow due to woody plants. Even if we eradicate the weeds I’m assuming we’d have to cover the ground somehow to smother any new growth? Or are we just stuck killing each successive round of growth until they exhaust themselves?

Look into solarization. Covering the ground with plastic can be an effective way to eradicate weeds.

@@GardenerScott yes I am currently solarizing a large section, but this area is right alongside said area but is more wooded and shady.

It is possible to have too much compost in soil. Too many nutrients is likely to happen.
