@@longrangeprecisionshooters8935 I'm on month 4 of waiting for a Chad to surface so I can grab one. I'm still working with an ATS, which is a nice brake but I've heard the Chad is magic.
That's an interesting result to me. I live local to TBAC and was out shooting at the same range last year about this time just before they dropped the Magnus RR series. They were doing final checks on it and let me shoot it from their demo rifle. AI 308 running factory M118LR using the full sized Magnus RR off of a post with a bag. I was spotting my own hits at 100 with it without ears. A buddy also picked up the Magnus S RR SR and runs it on his 7mm RM Savage High Country for hunting. He finds it reduces recoil as much or slightly more than the factory brake and settles the rifle better than it as well.
Thank you for doing this video. I’ve been waiting on this exact comparison between the TBAC vs maverick since they announced it. I picked my maverick up the day before this video came out and I fell better about my purchase now.
Very impressive shooting and good video. I find it interesting that the free recoil shots didn’t affect the sight picture as dramatically as I anticipated they would. I’ll have to try this next time I’m at the range
Really appreciate this video content. Understanding the limitations of different products is a huge benefit to not have to pay out through trial and error. That would be a cool test. I have the old hybrid 46, not sure I could get my hands on the Omega. I'll have to do some digging on that one. Good idea though!
The 153 A-tip is intriguing. The original 6.5 (6.5x55, developed in 1891) has long been favored by Scandinavian moose hunters in the Norma 156 gr Oryx, which is no longer available in the US (I have one box I have never shot, saving for a rainy day). The benefits of the high BC round and comfy-shooting cartridge continues to prove itself.

Great video. I also have the CHAD, Maverick (short config), and RR-K and found the exact same results.. However, the RR-K works extremely well on a magnum cartridges.
