- this day was SO productive!!! finally getting all of the bigger projects completed and I am so so so excited!! My goal is to be done by possibly Wednesday of this week?!?!?! eeeek! I hope y'all enjoyed this and I will see y'all with day 11 (which I filmed today) in a couple days!!!! love u all!! also thank you so so so much for 2,000 amazing humans on teacher gram!! y'all are the absolute BESTTTT!!

A steamer should get that crease out of your little burlap pin board! Also my kiddos livvvvve for earning class dojo points and we display our dojo of the week for who ever earned the most points. Alsoooo when I have a sub I put up a pocket chart and leave a baggie if laminated dojo monsters and every time she catches them doing something good she puts one in and if they earn a certain agreed upon amount, they get to pick a new book for the library that I bring back. Works like a charm, never have bad sub reports. My kiddos were determined to earn Pigeon Books when I had appointments for CFS last winter, they earned 3 new books!

I think class dojo is a great reward system! I very much recommend hanging up what each milestone of points equals so kids are encouraged to work to get the reward. Btw love this so much ur class room is goals xxxxx

One thing I wanted to mention is, dont feel like you need to fill every space. As a mom with a child with special need I know a busy classroom can be very distracting and overwhelming. But I totally get it I have a tendency to get excited about something then my too much gene comes out. ❤❤

For whiteboards u can just laminate white paper and it works perfectly as a white board ,and its easily wipeble

I HAVE DONE THE SAME THING. My gas tank is on the passenger side, so when I left to go inside and came back out i completely forgot about it. I ripped the whole thing off the tank. I was bawling because I thought I was going to have to pay thousands of dollars to fix it... hahaha. I went inside to tell the gas station guy and he said they have a breakaway hose, so it was all good lol. I still have PTSD and have to check 10x that I took the hose out every time I leave the gas station pump! Love your videos and classroom so much!

Hey, love your setups and classroom theme🥰 quick tip. Send the laminated poster (that you are trying to take the crease out of) back through the laminator and it will come out perfect and without the crease😬 Good luck 👍

The gas pump has a breakaway on the hose to stop the actually pump from coming out of the ground. It happens all the time girl!!

I love your classroom and its the cutest, I feel. But one thing I've noticed as a parent that all experienced teachers with 10+ years under their belts, always opt to use colorful attracting colors in their classrooms. And I've also noticed that that new teachers (my daughter also took my friends class last year, it was her first year teaching aswell) tend to opt for trendy more modern decor. As a mom with kids, I know that my personal home decore doesn't attract my kids even though I think it's super cute. They are attracted to more colorful things, eye catching posters etc. This being said, i feel like a classroom set up, especially with posters and things you want the kids to notice on the walls should be bright colorful and cheerful, because it it catches their eye, they notice it and remember it. I showed my kids the types of classroom set ups videos (there are quite a few on RUclips) and they preferred the colorful ones... idk just something I've noticed throughout the years....

If you are trying to get around the blocked sites you can use a app for a VPN! I used to do it when I was in high school!!

About the gas station, my husband did that the other day, and the hose actually broke off the machine and the gas station charged him $100 🙁 good thing the hose didn't break for you!

I think you should definitely leave room for kids art to hang up near ur desk because kids love to write card and draw for the teachers.
