    "PENNY"
    "MOUNTAIN GREEN"
    These two items stuck with me for some reason. Interestingly, just 7 miles NW of Hellier (as a crow flies) is a town called PENNY and it is dominated by a green mountain which has had all of it's trees stripped bare, presumably due to some sort of logging operation. I'm not sure if there's a connection here, but I had Google Earth open while I was listening to this and I just noticed it. Perhaps that's another geographic spot to investigate?

    I hate the Spirit Box as an investigative tool because it can have interference and that can lead to you hearing what you want to hear from it. The way it's used by most mainstream investigators nowadays is just terrible in my opinion. However, I love the implementation of it here. It is a very clever way to try and remove a lot of the variables that can skew a Spirit Box session. I am loving this series and can't wait to see the rest of what happens. Kudos to Planet Weird

      JdrumTN could be the names of his 2 children. David & Christie. The Dr wants to stay anonymous, so he wouldn’t use his own name. Using the forenames of his his children def makes him almost impossible to trace. I’d be asking around the neighbourhood for people with children, and enquire if they knew a brother & sister with those names that left the area recently. The local school, shops, garage, real estate agent, or sheriff would likely know, if not all of them. The numbers they were given, appear to be coordinates. They should’ve gotten a sat nav, or used Google maps, input the coordinates, and followed where it led. I’d 💯 be armed to the teeth, though. Especially if they’re going either close to, or in an abandoned mine, and especially being in the middle of nowhere, with caves, mines, & woods ect. everywhere. There could be any number of predators out there. Bears, mountain lions, or whatever, never mind goblins, elves, aliens, and Big foot. They could also come across Meth labs ect out in the arse end of nowhere, which are usually run by crazy folks. Then, there’s the possibility of murderers out there. There could be supernatural forces, evil entities, or anything, too. If, out late at night, they wander into the wrong place, at the wrong time, like some unfriendly persons property, anything could happen. They could be mistaken for criminals ect, and be judged a threat themselves. I’d think being armed with more than a video camera, & tape recorder, would be statutory in their position. Better to be armed to the teeth & NOT need them, than to need guns ect & NOT have them.

    •  5 лет назад +3

      JdrumTN Saying that, in the Missing 411 series about Hunters, several prolific hunters, who’d been going to the same spots for years, knew the area they were in like the backs of their hands, were armed, & still vanished, although their weapons were found, among other items of their belongings. For instance one guy vanished & they found his rifle snapped in half. His body was found in an area miles away from where he was meant to be, in a place that made no sense, many months later. A bow hunter was in a blind, high up in a tree, and she heard a noise, the forest went silent, not a sound, no leaves rustling, no wind, no animals, nothing, like the whole area sensed danger, & knew what was there. She looked around, seeing movement in a tree opposite. What she described is the Predator from the film of the same name. She took photographs, and her husband was a forensic photographic expert. Apparently the camera that took the picture was incapable of taking the picture it did. Never the less, it was proved without a doubt, to be the camera that took the photo. They can tell this by the data embedded in every photograph. Park rangers have vanished too, and a man, whom was an expert in wild bears. David Paulides states people should never be alone, and ALWAYS carry a locator beacon, mobile, food, fire starting equipment, water, foil blanket, a bright sheet, a whistle, map & a firearm. Common sense things really. I’d take chalk, or yellow wax crayon to mark trees, so I could find my way back.

    •  5 лет назад +4

      JdrumTN The cave systems underground, appear to be somehow linked to the 411 cases. In most cities, there are usually underground tunnels, disused underground rail networks, catacombs, drains ect. Either one of, or all the following, Granite Boulder fields, bodies of water, & berry bearing shrubs are prevalent in all the 411 cases. Think we can add tunnels/caves, too. Granite emits low levels of radiation. It’s geology is unique. I think there could be clues to whatever is happening to these people, or how they are taken, in Nikolai Tesla’s files. The genius had an understanding of this planet unlike anyone else. He understood how the planet truly functions, and the limitless possibilities it holds. He was taught by his mother, whom was self taught. It’s believed they were descendants of a line originating in Tartaria (aka Tartary) pre the great mud flood in 1850/60s ish. Tartary was the largest empire on Earth, eclipsing the British Empire, by many times. Maps exist of it, along with plans, and artists renderings of its cities. It was a place unlike anything we know. A place of the free man. No wage slaves, and no living to work. A place erased from history completely, by corporate greed.

    •  5 лет назад +4

      JdrumTN There are many reports of hollow earth, and many entrances are said to be hidden throughout the planet. Tales of humanoids appearing out of nowhere, and people discovering entrances into caves, and finding strange phenomena. There’s more to this world than we are led to believe, and the government know only to well. People have found giants, deceased, preserved like mummies, dressed in full armour, along with riches, and library’s of information in many places, and countries. Mount Shasta is said to be a portal to an underground world. The military in US actually x-rayed the mountain, why would they do that if the reports of the strange phenomena there are not true? There’s info here on RUclips about it. Then there’s Admiral Byrd’s flight across the South Pole, and his staying in interviews how land exists that no man has ever laid foot on , across the South Pole. His reports make very interesting reading. Did he really enter Agatha? He claims to have seen many extinct species, and land without snow or ice. Airplanes where said to of disintegrated in midair. Like they hit an invisible barrier. The firmament? Check the inscription on the ex Nazi scientist, and NASA founder, (after being spirited away from Germany at the end of WW2, under operation Paper Clip),Wernher Von Browns grave stone. If man can really travel out of earths orbit, get to outer space, the moon ect, why would he wish for such an inscription? There’s far far more to this planet, and it’s possibilities than we are taught, and the government are fully aware of it all. We are like mushrooms, kept in the dark, and fed on shit, That’s my belief. (Sorry for the long post, I’ve just started putting the pieces together, it’s a large puzzle)! I could be completely wrong, of course. Peace.

    I have information dating back to the late 80s about "gremlins" in Bowling Green KY you might be interested in. And I spent the better part of a year, while living & working in Pikeville, exploring for caves on Pine Mt w a local girl from Elkhorn City. There were many local " legends" about a cursed cave, that was supposed to hold hidden Spanish silver near there. We managed to meet an older gentleman who showed us what appeared to be authentic silver pieces. Whether they were really from the now cursed cave or not I couldn't say.
    And there were other local "rumors" of Sasquatch. Lots of them. Especially relative to old mines, but I would think caves would a be safer choice for shelter.
    We mapped entrances quite a bit between Elkhorn Creek & Jenkins. Info was given to the Nature Conservancy. We also were involved in projects including Line Fork Cave, now protected Bat Colonies/Nurseries, & Green cave. There are others in that location in the Little Shepherd Trail.
    Much of it in all locations requires some minor ropework to be done "safely", aka, Less dicey, than when we initially started out. Easy to get "down to" the cave entrances & outcrops. But a tad challenging in some locations, to get up or down from where you land.
    We also explored a very cool "water cave" right at Jenkins, near where the cut through is.
    There appears to be 2 different types of cave development there, phreatic banana holes at upper elevations of the LS, dry, frequently nested. If there was/is a sasquatch, these would be good "homes"...Sometimes there is a physical connection to the lower Vados development that runs along the strike of the mountains...hollers may or may not intersect these to the surface. These require rope training to access. But there are some smaller caves, paleo development, & squeeze entrances, w the occasional crawl closer to Elkhorn City.
    The limestone layer is 500-600 feet thick, & due to the uplift & very steep angle on this leading edge of the Apalacians, it was largely remote to most human access.
    There was some weird stuff that happened in the area. Id recommend you just interview folks living in these areas too. Theyre generally good w the stories, & although I expect some exaggerations, there typically is some truth...

    I was born in Cincinnati Ohio but moved to NC at age 13. Anyway, as a young kid with my best friend went exploring into this new connecting neighborhood. We ended up in the backyard of a house that was being built, construction workers were not there because it was a weekend. Some older kids were there before we got there and said there was a dead body in the sand pit behind the house. So my friend and I decided to dig up this supposedly dead body. There were cold & hot spots in this sand pit and we would freak out every time we felt the hot spots.
    After watching this video of four people on the front porch listening to the sounds at night the only thing I could think of was the Sandpit Effect ( my wording) and Fear Mongering. From 12 - 29 I've always questioned the unknown. I've had a spirit box built for me. I began going on investigations at 19 and collecting equipment since. I have always tried to understand the paranormal, but I do think the most logical explanation is that we are a part of a multiverse giving us many realities. With the spirit box we can connect with these realities briefly. I mean you have to think, out of all the years humans have been on earth, we've only had this type of technology for a brief time. That being said we have created radio, television, wifi for one main purpose. Who's to say these waves can't pick up more that we have yet to explain. Exploring the unknown has always been a fascination, from my beginning interest in the Ouija phenomenon to the multi dimensional, I definitely respect what you guys are doing and hope you guys keep at it. Nobody talks about the can. Ok the original story from 1955 (think that's the year) the statement read that when he shot them they sounded like a tin can. That also aligns when they asked the question if they were ready to be seen or something to that question. Then that's when he sees said tin can.

    Find the doctor by going to the local hospital. Even if he didn't practice in the hospital, his patients would have gone there when they needed hospitalization so the staff would have known who he was. I think it was a fake name, but perhaps they would remember a doctor who came and went within 7 months. Especially in such a small area. Or he was unemployed. All pretty fishy I think.

    It seemed to me that the spirit box segment was an entity trying to explain that they were being observed, at that moment, from the tree line. All the indications point to Sasquatch watching them. Wood knocks, stone throwing, even the strange chirping are all indicative of their behaviour. I believe, from years of research, that certain types of Sasquatch have some kind of paranormal "abilities", so maybe even the entity was a Sasquatch. But im just giving my thoughts, not facts, so dont hate on me!

    what is the sound i'm hearing around the 19:02 mark? Just after Karl says "I don't feel...anxious" and before the subtitles/closed caption says "[branches breaking]", there is a very deep ..groan like sound, and then the sound of either someone saying "shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"...quite loudly. No-one reacts in the video and no-one in the comments has mentioned it either, so I'm not sure if I'm hearing something natural/normal and it just sounds weird....or what. The deep groan like sound is almost like a distortion - you know like how they slow a voice down really sloooooooow. Does anyone else hear it?

    Love this series! I’m hooked 🔥💯
    Something I’ve learned about channeling or receiving messages from multidimensional beings is to designate one person (the engager) to ask the questions. When you have too many hands in the pot, too many questions are being asked from all over the place and the process gets muddied. Too many people talking over each other (at once). When you designate someone to be the direct engager, communication tends to come through more clear and there’s plenty of time in between to bring through answers.
    Just my little recommendation. 💚

    This may have already been commented on I did not read everything.
    But, I am a criminal investigator and if I were trying to locate a Dr. David Christie, I believe that every practicing physician is documented and can be researched to see if he at least exists.

    • @jordanalandry1866
      @jordanalandry1866 2 года назад +1

      That's not true not necessarily, I'm a physician, EPDB is not a publicly available database; David Christie is obviously a pseudonym which should've been clear from the start, as he was sooo concerned with total anonymity. "DR" doesn't necessarily connote medical physician either, it applies to anyone with a doctorate degree, or even some PhDs. And he may not be one at all, I know if I was concerned with remaining anonymous I wouldn't choose anything close to my real name to use.

    I don't understand why you didn't go to Tami right away, or call her again? You are acting like you have no leads but her grandson is a perfect lead. I'm totally obsessed with this documentary and story. It gives me a feeling that I have never had before. Like an energetic shift. Stress and intense obsession that I don't know what to do with. Maybe Christies name is an anagram? Oh, nevermind. You did talk to Tami. It's weird he went hunting without you. Why isn't he scared of the woods?

    • @jb111082
      @jb111082 2 года назад +1

      My guess is they were looking for Ol' Chris Davidson. An odd, but really smart fella that made the BEST rhubarb pie. Hell, they even sold it at Jiffy Stop ( that gas station, grocery store, and pizza place) from time to time....at least when Shirly would buy it from him.

    • @jb111082
      @jb111082 2 года назад +1

      Addendum. They had the right road to where he lived at last episode. They just went too far. He lived up Bartley Holler which is just past Hellier proper, and up Ashcamp Mountain, near the peak on the left. They were coming from the Elkhorn side, so it was on the right for them. Hell......they went so damned far that they passed the damned slush pond that Cam Coal left there. That's about 3 miles past where it's safe to drive anything that isn't a 4 wheeler or dirt bike. But that's my opinion. Could be wrong though. I ain't the smartest feller in the class.

    • @jb111082
      @jb111082 2 года назад +1

      Another addendum: Tami's grandson's been hunting in those woods since he was big enough to hold a shotgun. He knows these parts well. I've hunted and dug ginseng here all my life. I know these parts well too. If you make yourself a part of nature, rather than apart from nature, then it's not scary.....it's just home.
      Tami, by the way, is a really wonderful person. I've known her 30 years or so now, and she's been nothing but nice to me and mine.
