Apparently, the plea deal was offered to Julian Assange 9 months ago!!!
Being the incredible man of integrity he is, he refused because he said he was not guilty - amazing man.
It took 9 months for his family and friends to convince him to accept the deal.
I am even more impressed with the man than I already was - f'n amazing man.
He is the hero that people should be telling there children to imitate, better than most sports heroes who 'cannot keep it in their pants'.

Oh, you mean THOSE who actually committed the crimes he exposed? 😆 Yes, you are right, those did not "pardon" him 😆 A 52-year-old journalist can still work if he wants to. He has pleaded "guilty" to doing what was right to do. Therefore, his "admission of guilt" is a perfect move. Guilty of spreading the truth and paying the price. Reason for pride. And a Bitcoiner. A Legend. His release is in fact a very good precedent. Nobody is so naive to think of any better precedent than this one: You expose crimes, and if caught by the criminals, you could still declare that you did what you did and for that reason be left free to go. Amazing precedent.
