- There’s a special place in my heart for this song. Mainly because my grandmother loved it so much. Naturally I had to sing it for the woman who made me take singing seriously. Without her, I don’t know where I’d be! If I’m being honest, I’ve been missing her a lot lately so I wanted to take a moment to honour that grief and channel it into the best gift she gave me - music. I hope you enjoy it. One of the saddest days I can recall in the musical world was learning that Eva Cassidy had died. One of the most joyous days was learning of this young lady, Janet Devlin. Both young ladies have sung this song; both giving new meaning and presence in their own way, both with exquisite presentations. We listeners are blessed by what each of them has given us. There is no more beautiful instrument than the human voice. Two of the most beautiful voices to grace us are Janet’s and Eva’s. We are so lucky.

I wasnt sure I dare listen to this, its one of my favourite songs (Eva Cassidy version), it's a nice version. I prefer yours to the original from Sting because its closer to Eva's style but hers truely is special.

They are one of my favourite country style bands (well, some sort of country :) ). Especially "Not ready to make nice" would sound great with your wonderful voice. There are few people in the world who can project raw, pure emotion with just their voice the way you do JD, to the point that it almost becomes a tangible presence rather than just a feeling, be it joy, sorrow, longing, heartache, it wraps around you like a blanket the second you start to sing, it's a humbling experience to witness you do it so easily in person, and it's one of your greatest assets
