Howard Levy, is not only the best harmonica player I have ever witnessed, (Bela Fleck & the Flecktones=1st 2 cd's) He is also a fine person. I have his harmonica teaching video (store bought) and somewhere I found number and called. He answered and talked to me about a challenge I was having with the harmonica. He never sounded like he was in a hurry to get off the phone or even that there was something else on his mind. This was back in 1992.

I've been playing for 2 months, so what he says makes sense, but it's another level. Like there are great blues players, they did tongue blocking too, they're great, and there's this guy, basically a wizard.

You are a genius! I so admire your abilities on harmonica and piano. There are very few who can do what you do yet those of us who can't receive much pleasure in your artistry! I play harmonica but could never reach your level but just knowing it is possible it is a wonder and ecstasy.

I have taking my time watching so many of the greats on the Harp.
I am 100% for sure that beyond a shadow of any reasonable doubt! There are some fantastically talented people playing magnificent, but out of all ...there is only one 👑 KING. This gentleman " HOWARD LEVY". Long live the KING Of harmonica!!!

Just astonishing! I play a tiny little bit of harp and watching what Howard can do with a diatonic harp just blows my mind.

This is exactly why I want to explore different layouts on the diatonic harp. What other great stuff is just laying there dormant? lol have always loved this.

What a treat to hear him as well as Bela Fleck, the rest of the Flecktones AND Chick Corea and his amazing band for 3 1/2 hours last night! AMAZING!

Carlos Del Junco foi aluno dele Marcos!! Tive o prazer de produzir ele aqui no Brasil juntamente com o Flavio no 12 encontro de harmonicas e é uma cara incrivel!!!!

Some like to press the red button if they don't like a kind of music. But I simply cannot imagine how somebody dislikes a person who shows a good musical brain.

Damn! How many hours of practice will it take to get the muscle memory to kick in on something like this? Howard, I think you underestimate your talent and genius.

DesertRatDan it took me weeks! very frustrated in the beginning haha, though oh so rewarding. but like anything else, if you set your mind to it and put it in the time, it will come surely.
