Did StockX Send Me Fake Jordan 4 Kaws?

- So I just bought these Jordan 4 Kaws from StockX and they look very suspicious. There's red flags everywhere, right off the bat the quality of the Suede. I noticed on some videos with Jordan Kaws one swipe with your finger the suede changes color. Mine doesn't, the hairs are very short. I also noticed that the Shoes them self looked different from one another. So I decided to see if the shoe size tag showed any differences and what do you know. The dates are different. The right shoe says 11/04/16 - 01/03/17 and the left shoe says 10/05/16 - 12/22/16. That right there just proved my theory. Also on the bottom of the left shoe, the "Mickey Hands" aren't as defined as the right shoe AND that's one of the big key items to look at. Please help me out, comment below and tell me what you think, I greatly appreciate it.
Dude looks like a person had a real pair and a fake pair. Mixed up the left shoes and sold both pairs getting double the money vs. selling only the real. The stockx employee probably inspected the real without looking at the other one.

I have seen a pair has this discontinuity, exactly the same, and the left pair was fake. Sorry bro, but some people mix real and fake and sell them together. Horrible trick, since one of the shoe is legit, it would make people consider this as factory flaws. IT IS NOT. You should ask for a full refund. Best luck bro.

Your pair is real. Dead giveaway from a fake is the holes for the laces on the tabs. The holes on the fake pairs look like little holes and on the real pairs they're bigger and curved. Your pair is straight, no worries.... The date is never gonna be exactly the same so pay no attention to that.....

I bought the bred 13's (2017 release) from StockX and they sent me one shoe from the 2013 release and the other was from 2017. I could tell immediately that something was off about them plus the production dates were years apart. I ended up getting a refund from them. Idk if it was the seller or StockX that was trying to pull a fast one, but it was definitely shady.

Stock x never told you “no refunds” they have a very clearly outlined return policy.
There not the matching pair, that's easy to see.
Sometimes you can lose the texture of the suede if somebody before you has used some type of treatment to clean suede, also the texture can be changed from waterproofing sprays for suede tends to make the suede more course. Also a classic sign that they've been washed with detergent and not rinsed properly.
I bought a pair of breds from 2016 from stockx and I got the same thing where the toe boxes didn't match looked horrible and stockx did return them and refund my money but I've learned that the quality control on Jordan brand shoe is horrible and that the PAIR is never produced in the same factory most of the time!! I would say their probably legit but like you said you just paid 1100 for them so I would want my shits looking PERFECT..

I almost feel like if your gonna buy goat or stock x, you might as well just go replica. I mean we really dont know whose word we’re taking for authenticity anyway. Its not as if we know their background or know them personally or some shit. So why do we take their word for it? I mean they dont even sign their names. Just a letter in most cases. I feel like if u take pride in your work and want to be best in business youd want to advertise yourself a little better than just a letter. It just seems fishy to me. And i know there are behind the scene videos of these places but it’s not like they were surprise visits. Your paying however much to have some tom dick or harry say theyre legit. Maybe they know maybe they dont. Maybe they care maybe they dont. Whos to say some of them receive a legit pair and mail a fake pair to the buyer. Im sure it all happens every possible way. Its not worth trusting these people imo. Theres too many hands on the product for me. But this is just my opinion and why i dont use these sites.
i feel the exact same way. every shoe i got from them feel off so i keep the tag on so i can do more research.
So far I've bought two pairs of Jordan 4's from StockX, Toro Bravos and Green Glow, and both pairs are 100% legit. Maybe I'm just lucky, Idk, but so many people are complaining about fakes so I'm kinda skeptical to buy more.

Damn I have heard some horrible stories about StockX. Everything from employees trying on or wearing customers shoes, switching legit pairs out for fake pairs and sending them back to seller, not doing good legit checks . That company should be reported to the BBB

StockX are horrible. Bad quality control / who ever in charge of authenticating shoes needs more schooling.
They sent me a pair of human race pink glow with horrible heel tab stitching.

Ive made 10 purchases through stock x. the last 2 went terrible. They send me a pair of wing12s with noticeable damage. i emailed to report it and they me shut me down. Any claim with Stockx is huge fucking hassle. cs is no help at all.

Stockx inspect every shoe for authenticity if it's fake they will send it back to the seller and refund the person their money they won't even send you a shoe if it's fake
i got those last month .im dealing with similar issue the same areas your talking about at 04:17 mine are darker and lighter as well . Mine don’t have the rest of the issues though . is it because their hand made and designed different ? Started using stock x more after getting a ps5 and being all good 👍 , alot cheap products now . This is my first jordan’s from them had to check them out after a friend at work told me about their issues selling fakes . Im just gonna call nike to verify in case

Looks like one real shoe and one fake. I'm guessing that's the conclusion you came to judging on the comments. The right one looks legit to me... the XX logo on the heel was a dead give away.

For the purpose people will think thats real because in one pair they hav the real shoes. So it will make people confused. Just kinda like camouflage the fake with the real one.

jeffrey abarca when comparing the shoe with a legitimate shoe the quality is off in every way. The stitching is awful, the detail on the Kaws hands are off, the quality of suede and color is off. Basically it's a low grade shoe compared to the legit pairs. I was lucky enough to get my money back even thought stockx don't give refunds or exchanges. I made this video not only to get help from viewers but to educate buyers to do some research on the shoes they're about to buy to catch or notice if any differences.

I don’t use apps. I bought a pair of champagne 6s off goat they were brand new and came in damaged they had a deep scuff mark on the back and goat ignored my messages so I contacted bbb then a week later I was refunded

Did you go through stockxsupport? It says we have 3 days to request but what happens if were not getting any response?
Rand0m Vids I went StockX and there's an email you can forward your claim I think his name was Russ. He got back to me the very next day asking for proof; pictures, videos etc. I would recommend you go to your local consignment stores so you can compare your shoes with there's and you can take pictures/videos. You can tell if a Jordan 4 is fake most time quality control is probably bad on kaws but idk never had them

They real...btw they only change color if your fingers have moisture on them. Just got some 4's(Raptors) one shoe bigger than other & badly cut nubuck. The factory workers in Taiwan sometimes work 12 hour days so if they tired af they gonna make minor mistakes on occasion.

Two different productions meaning to different productions on each shoe the left could have been made on October and the right on December it happens I got a few shoes like that

I think you're being a bit harsh on Stockxx to be honest. They look real to me. I don't see any red flags in regards to fraud.
It's a bit of an urban myth that "the Xs have to be flat" for them to be real.
In fact, the Xs on the real ones are pronounced. They're just not as pronounced as the fake ones. And the X on the left looks completely correct - just about perfect for how pronounced they should be.
The red flag, for you, is that the X on the left and right shoe are different. And I'd probably send them back in the same circumstance. But that doesn't mean they're fake. More likely just a bad batch from Nike.
Again, it's completely false that the Xs on the back of the shoes should be flat. They should actually be pronounced. The fake ones are just more pronounced.

J MILLZ Stock Xis legit, they have employees that check that the shoe is authentic. This must've slipped through one of them. Get informed before commenting.
You can get different production dates in each shoe, I have 2 or 3 pair of shoes I bought from retail with different production dates, So technically that doesn’t define if your shoe is fake or not. But to be truthful it does look like you have a UA pair, 1 of the shoe looks more legit than the other.

Jeremy Jones I presented a pretty good arguable case and they were able to agree to give me a full refund including shipping even though they don't offer returns or refunds. Of course they still say that they're real but in reality the right shoe was real and left was a high quality UA.
I going thru the same issue with the goat app. My left shoes has the same issues as your pair did.
Jeremy Jones it's funny that you say that. After I returned the shoes to StockX I went ahead and bought a pair from GOAT. Idk what it is with Nike but the Left shoe had the same issue except this time they had the same Production date, in addition there were some factory flaws on the bottom of the shoe (The spacing of the mold was off). I also had to return them and made sure that GOAT returned it through original transaction (Back to my PayPal account) because with their return policy they only give you GOAT credit. I eventually was able to buy a pair through one of my consignment stores. At least I was able to verify them there at the store before buying.
I noticed on another pair of my Jordan 4's I purchased from footlocker the production dates did not match on the pair of sneakers but there was no factory defects. I am done using the GOAT app and I never tried stock x but i have heard of similar issues. I think I will start using consignment stores in my area like you so I am able to physically look at the sneaker before buying.

Jcm _ you're technically half right lol I took my shoes to one of my local Consignment shops "Mag Park" and we compared them to one of their shoes (Same size) and the left shoe was totally off. Unfortunately it's hard to tell from the video I posted but in person it's a different story. Long story short it turned out that the left shoe was a high quality fake/unauthorized shoe. The right shoe was legit. I took photos, made videos and sent them a link to a video on RUclips showing the EXACT production date matches on a pair of fakes. Stockx then gave me a FULL refund including shipping. There's absolutely no reason why the production dates should be different from one shoe to another. It might bother some people and might not do much for others but if I'm paying over $1,000 I expect nothing less. Hopefully you didn't get the same shoes I did, I sent them back on 8/25/17.
