    Here is the missing end:
Poirot: "Oh, I intend to take my time. After so much excitement, I need a little peace and quiet. I shall break up my journey home in Istanbul and spend a few days exploring the city. All my life, I have wanted to see the Hagia Sophia, and then I shall treat myself to a sleeping car on the Orient Express. After all, at my age, I deserve these little luxuries.""

And we all know what happened then. Poor guy just couldn't get a quiet vacation.

Yes , Agatha DID write some classic detective / crime mysteries but the plot
twist here is totally ridiculous. And I'm a fan of hers !!

Think the same about Mary Stewart stories but I read her for the wonderful atmosphere and description that transports the reader to other worlds.

Yes .That's true ! We read in order to escape. But , there are limits to how far we
should stretch our credulity . Agatha was by no means the worst in that respect..
That title belongs to Francis Durbridge /
Paul Temple !! His plots crossed the border
into being just silly..! A fatal mistake...
Very entertaining but a bit of an insult to
      the readers intelligence.!!

This seems like it's taken straight from the television show, I'll know for sure as soon as I hear Poirot.

Don’t know who the man in the photo is but he looks more like what I think Poirot should look like. His mustache fits the description in the books perfectly!
