- Cheaters have gone evolved from blatant to now subtle hacking in TCM, it can be frustrating trying to figure out if someone is cheating, hopefully the developers at Gun have a fix for this soon, in the meantime, I'm still gonna have a blast with this game, cheaters or not!

Big brain plays with the grapple tech. Cheaters are so stupid, and in the end they still auto-escape because they couldn't beat you with their cheats.

I was queuing with a friend and while I was saying I have never encountered a cheater we were all forced ready upped
I hate cheaters, but that one is kinds funny.
Had a speed hacking Julie one game, who also had infinite health. But she started a grapple with someone and when I hit her, game suddenly lagged out and got dced after a few minutes. I was just laughing cause they messed up and instead of auto escaping just ruin the point gain for everyone who was still connected. Since I didn't get any exp from that match. Also seen the open all doors cheat a few times. Makes me sad to see it so often more so as a pc player myself. They give the legit pc players a bad rep lol.
I think I might have met the same Julie; I was on Slaughterhouse, and they seemed to have got caught in a glitch where they couldn't shimmy through a gap, but when I went and got a couple of hits, I saw them accelerate their speed to loop around to the other side (I was the Cook, so I got to watch them zoom even when they left line of sight). It was on Gas Station, and our Bubba was able to keep pressure on Generator-- with both gates padlocked --the valve that was at the side of the house, and the fuse. All that I and the Hitchhiker needed to do was keep an eye on Car Battery while swatting anyone down wells while they depleted all the healing around the map... then at one point, the Bubba claimed to be "moving weirdly" before they disconnected, and shortly later the basement exit was opened. I recieved trashtalk from the Julie, complaining that I... didn't put my padlocks on the Car Battery exit. Presumably because then it'd been easier for their Connie-- who they were in a comp with --to blast through the locks and escape out the road. It's strange how cheaters are already manipulating the game to their whim, and still complain that their opponents are playing optimally.
The cheating is so bad, PC players are being removed from crossplay until it's fixed.
That's pathetic, lobbies on PC are dead or full of hackers, $39.99 game btw, I'm glad I didn't immediately jump to buy this, everyone hates Illfonic for F13 and Hunting Grounds but Gun Media continually gets a pass...

yeah, im on console and even with the crossplay back on its still super bad, came across 2 cheaters in 2 separate games within 20-30 minutes of each other, both had wall hacks, so in the first i just kept getting tracked by leatherface everywhere i went. second game, i had johnny float above my head like he was jesus after 5 minutes into the game, then everyone was highlighted and i got massacred in an instant. honestly, they should remove crossplay again until they can get the kinks all worked out and improve anticheat

Yeah they disabled crossplay on pc so you don’t need to worry about cheaters if you play on console.
I wish they can resolve this issue so cross platform comes back on pc. I own the game on pc, so I have to deal with these cheaters in my lobby’s. I haven’t met any survivor cheaters yet but at least I know how to counter them using grabble technique.

Have cheats on console already kkkk Just yesterday i get five cheaters on a roll one Just killed me on 2 hits with me Full health with Sissy the other has no hitbox só i cant hit him the other Just teleport out of the family house and then bubba using wallhacks. And Sissy disabling your ruining Button after she hits you

It's pretty pathetic that 99% of them use cheats as a crutch because they suck at moving pixels around, or because they need to feel better about their sad, and sorrowful life.

I once beat a cheating Connie, her unlock ability was infinite and she was invisible so she breezed through every gate and door, eventually getting stuck in a trap I placed behind gas station door. Bubba had seen the unlocks and was suspicious so he was wandering around gas station. As soon as trap went off, I screamed at Bubba to rush for the gas station door and the legend slammed the saw right on the trap killing the connie.
Thanks for spreading awareness about this. All we can is spread the awareness and hope the devs want to save their own game before the cheaters ruin it.
Now I will be forced to play with only PC and probably go against more cheaters. I was so lucky to only get my first one yesterday and someone purposely using a glitch and that it so far. Now I am probably gonna encounter way more now but I hope not. I can't even play with anyone of my friends now besides like 1 or 2

As of recently, they are announcing they are addressing the cheating issues, as a follow-up to them saying on twitter, they are aware of the issues and are trying to fix them, which is more than some devs for sure lol
They "fixed" it by turning off cross play for PC gamers only - be it temporary (don't know for how long). I only play this game with friends that have it for PS5 and I own it on Steam - I'm being punished and can't play with them because of something I didn't do. Time to go back to DBD I guess.

Second: this is an issue because of the developers. Why? - Because the developers didn't implement EAC into the GamePass PC version but they did for the Steam version. So cheaters are coming from GamePass PC, and not from Steam players. It's not annoying for someone to be upset with the developers about this.
If someone found a way to easily cheat on Xbox or PS5, those consoles would have a bunch of cheaters on them. We all know this to be true.
TLDR: PC players are getting punished because of the developers not stopping cheaters by not putting an anti-cheat in place on GamePass for PC. But they did add it to the Steam version.

Just a reminder to be kind to eachother. If you're playing as family, just get it over with. If you're victim, just escape. Don't find ways to taunt and be toxic. Remember that the real enemy is cheaters who are there to ruin the game for everyone.
I’ve been playing the game for 2 weeks and I already ran into 2 cheaters I was chasing the second cheater and they just disappeared(they teleported outside the map)
Playing the game for 2 weeks I can assure you that you ran into more than 2 cheaters, Probably just a lot of ones you didn't notice. I noticed cheaters on day 1 and by day 3 it was getting extremely obvious, by 2 weeks in I was done playing the game cause the cheaters found ways to avoid being reported.

i lost like 20 games in a row and didnt understand why after i literally was just easily wining bu i noticed they had crazy levels and i could barley do anything in any of my games and almost lost it also the teaming and camping in this game is crazy

On console I’ve only ran into a few cheaters, but I also just started playing the game about 2 weeks ago. Crazy how there’s only about 13k people that play this game, and this shit occurs.
P.S: TCM is actually a great game, kinda sad more people don’t play it
Once went against a cheater who was invisble but me as leatherface and a teammate as Sissy was able to start a grapple by randomly swinging while they were trying to stab us and then i hit them pretty much instantly so they had no chance to escape the grapple. After they died all other three survivors suddenly escaped.
I kept thinking "oh the boneshard perk and NoSell can make it look like they're cheating sometimes" and then they reveal their hand later on in the match.
Actually nice to see the roles swapped for once. Rapid is always the one talking trash to the killers when he gets a door slam or stab on them.

I had a glitch happen multiple times where I was bubba and spawned upstairs and was invisible for a bit, this is on old gen Xbox
"We are removing PC from crossplay." -> Yes, so the legit playerbase has to suffer even more against cheaters. I rarely see cheaters. I tend to only play with console people. That is the only way I feel safe. No I will put away the game for a couple of weeks, months etc until I can play with console people again. I cannot afford buying the game again and a console for this game.
I’ve come across an Xbox player that was unable to be hit, it’s getting so bad. I hope the next patch fixes a lot of things.

@@someperson8942 It's on xbox one so my guess is that console can be jailbroken much more easily since it's alot older and then they run the cheats through that like they did on 360/ps3.
They aren't on the actual console anymore is actually the case, so since this game is on game pass that means that PC players with a xbox acc with active game pass sub can easily get into games like this and overwatch (please report anyone you think is suspicious, this is a actually a huge problem) I think Playstation users have a similar situation that they can stream and play ps plus games on a PC with no problem. If cheaters keep showing up for console I can only imagine that cross play will become completely inefficient and just absolutely awful to play. I have a clip of a kick streamer by the name of s6nn6r who was rage hacking on tcm and when we called him out on his shit he just wanted to cry about its because "I'm liberal scum" boy no it's because you're a grown man (older than me let alone that fact, mid 30s or 40s) fucking hacking in a game that hadn't been released more then 5 days at the time. He got banned live while his entire chat was calling him out.
Luckily the devs have got/trying to make better anti cheat in todays (sept 5) update including some fixes

Today was a lot of fun, not having PC cheaters with us improved the game a lot. They should add an option for console only crossplay permanently, so if you want to play with pc / console friends you select the normal crossplay but people fed up with the cheaters can just not play with them, but can play with the other console users.
And I really wish you people would stop acting like every single PC player is a cheater. But I guess that would require you to stop sniffing your farts for a couple of minutes.

It's like A COD lobby where you have 4x health and unlimited ammo, no reload, Wall Hacks, and the opponents all have to melee.
I played the other day with a friend. They took away his ability to attack as sissy mid match and I had hit them 6x in a row as leather face but they were fine.
Had a Leland who played game normally at the start then when he was close to dying he stopped trying. Used his power every 5 secs endless stamina and then managed to open the gate and turn the car battery off all while being chased
They really are. It's Friday the 13th all over again. I've literally just quit a match cos somehow me and cook ended up on the ground unable to get up in different areas when I went to attack a character. I hope they get this under control cos it's starting to get to be no fun.
Something I noticed is even with an only xbox lobby people rarely spawn invisible and is completely random I was an invisible hitchhiker once but wasn't invisible on my end if i wasn't playing with friends I would have had no clue
And this is why I turned off crossplay. I had a teleporting leatherface appear in front of me like Goku using instant transmission.

Here I thought the way I abuse Cook's ability so thoroughly was bad. At least it's within the natural limits of the game. Cheaters cheating blatantly or not is where I draw the line.

I've had only one game as victims so far, I've mained the killers and didn't even know that the bone scraps were meant to be single use.

I’d say I see one cheater for every like 30 hours I play. Sometimes I’m not even sure if it’s cheating or just bugs. For instance, one time I was playing as Hitchhiker (slaughterhouse) and I was repairing a bone trap near the pressure gate exit and after the animation ended it literally pushed me into the exit area that killers aren’t able to access. To any one else it would 100% look like I was cheating. Definitely some real cheaters tho; I’ve seen some blatant shenanigans which is kind of to be expected if you’re playing PC.
Yea i remember when the game 1st came out me and my best buds played victim. This bubba gt Mark wrote in chat gameover we thoughts nothing of it. It was Slaughterhouse He killed my friends in seconds we were stealthy n not bad. I made it upstairs hiding in the shadow outside if lean 2. He ran upstairs overhearded me another swing i was dead. He left after killing all of us. Idk i play for fun if i 4k thats cool too

I was playing a match and two of my friends were watching me I was playing and Johnny and this PC user was playing hitchhiker the match was going slightly steady but one of the victims got the fuse exit open and two victims were heading towards (we were at slaughter house) I was attacking Leland ana had made it downstairs I ran out of stamina and Leland made it to but as he did all the victims died at the sametime and the results said they all died due to bleed out but they were all clearly moving still and what do you know hitchhiker dipped right after

I was Leatherface today and Ana was a cheater, God mode, she didn't take damage and we couldn't kill her and she bulled us so much😐

One of my proudest gaming moment was when I killed a cheater in COD MW2. I don't know how I thought of it but he could be shot if you hit him through a wall.

i played over 100 games of tcm by now and i havent entcountered a single hacker yet, i am suprised that i get this lucky since almost anyone says that there are dozens of hackers
that you know of lol played the game for 30 mins (6 games) and 4 matches hadd invisible teleporting killers. the scary part is they can kick someone from the game then take their place , and if you spectate them youll see the dude who got kicked name not the cheater , so it will look like the random is cheating if you didnt know better
I just found out that people could cross play with this game but sadly my system is older so it’s my console only. But to know that this is an issue and a big one at that, yeah I don’t wanna cross play with other systems

You can't hold a game hostage. There's no disconnect penalty. If you're being prevented from finishing the match, leave the match. Easy.

The cheaters that use Insta-death on all survivors or insta-escape on all survivors are honestly next level sad lol. I remember playing survivor and the whole squad was struggling to kill us cause they had the genius idea of running bubba, cook and Johnny. All of whom cannot use crawl spaces and then got mad they couldn't stop us from escaping and looping. So then the cook started speed hacking, when that failed he started teleporting, when that failed, he just stood still and the game instantly showed all 4 survivors executed. Out of all the cheats I've seen in this game, the insta-win ones are just the funniest. It's so sad.
OH YEAH. Also the ppl who multiply the points they get. I had a match where a family member got 0 kills but way more points than everyone in the lobby.
This is why the company made PC play with themselves it sucks because now i can’t play with my homie anymore and i didn’t even encounter a cheater yet

Sonny obviously had more health thN usual sonny dies to leatherface instantly when you vet a rev off and even if he survived you hit him again while stunned

4 weeks late. The game is done for. Day one hackers because:
The game DEV left in the DEV controls in the game on release.
Took the next 2 weeks off.
Forums banned anyone pointing out the DEV controls were still in the released game.
Took TWO MORE weeks off.
Ignored that the DEV controls WERE STILL IN THE RELEASED GAME while working on the first patch.
HAVE STILL IGNORED that the FUCKING DEV CONTROLS are still IN THE GAME now moving onto patch two. WHICH STILL IGNORES THE DEV CONTROLS.
Its so sad some people literally are only capable of olaying a game id they cheat. Not to play well. Just to play the game in general like damn. Its not like its hard to get good at the game.
They probably want to boost their ego, needing to cheat because of how bad they are in the game, just wanted attention from so many people (probably streamers), or just to waste their money because they are “bored”.

No game is safe, GTA 6 will be filled to the brim with millions of cheaters. VPN Is a cheaters paradise.
