They're a Sierreño group (guitar group) or Corrido [regional mexican] group. Mariachi has more instruments and they have a more formal look. I like this music more than mariachi but mariachi is also a good sound. This is a newer genre, I've been a fan since forever. The king of corridos is Chalino Sanchez eventhought there is people who did it before him. There is a lot of good artist in the Corrido genre today.
