It started out looking like everything we ride in the Seattle area. Huck to flats, rocks, and logs. Now it is like a banana covered in gravy. Good work
"Could just make a landing out of sculpted dirt, but instead I'm gonna make a raised, semi-floating, differentially graded, wooden deck involving a blow torch, 30 lengths of wood, gravel and of course, dirt." Aaaand that's why exactly why I'm here for every new video.
It's just a matter of time before the big boys are gonna be like: 'oh shit, this is accually some quality content! Maybe i should hit this guy up so he allows me to recreate this type of adjustable jump" Still an outstanding build, and now with this fast and smooth landing you should make a fast section with some smooth berms. (Sorry for my English lol)
Solid work, looks dialed now! Heck yeah that you should make some sort of skinnies/progress course for Sarah. I bet she can hit that today already, strictly out of a theoretical perspective . But with confidence comes skill!
Loved the update! I really ate it weekend before last. Found out that 15 years and a "few" pounds make a big difference on what you can do now that used to be really easy. I ate it on a 4 foot drop and wasn't wearing a faceguard helmet and ate a hadlebar to the mouth and wound up with 5 stitches in my mouth and a busted shoulder. All in front of my kids. My wife was really impressed. Gonna get back on it next weekend! Ha needed a weekend off
Amazing vid! Great narration and creativity, with the crank plank. Sure, the big guys have a great backyards, but this will definitely be the most fun and innovative. Great vid.
Ok this was just super enjoyable to watch. Keep up the great work. Also, yes, building build some skinnys and maybe a tetter-totter on slower paced parts of the trail for fun and skills building. I suspect Sarah could hit the existing drop on the lowest setting no problem however.
Lmao with Seth's knack for the janky build, btb's woodworking and the shredists' ability to build changeable features I wouldn't be surprised to see a vertical 360 loop that can rotate around to a 45 degree angle wall ride being built.
That's sooo sick and real smart, although you may want to move the landing out a bit so as you get a little bit faster and comfortable on it it will still feel smooth. Sick video tho
Great idea. I've always wanted to make a drop with a removable, length adjustable kicker. You should have adjustable length on the ramp. The higher you go the more gap you need.
Your riding is good and all but I come for the building! Your builds are so sick and you do a phenomenal job. You should get into physical / structural engineering, it would come so naturally for you.
Feel you need to add one more adjustment to the drop, take off length. Looks like on the higher settings you have to go slow otherwise you land almost at the bottom of the lander
When you need to pull something don't try to double-fist it....... Hey-O Dude - you're a natural frontier engineer. I'm a 40+ year builder. You get physics that most don't. #impressed
You should try blacksmithing with how you were giggling about the brush fire. Trust me its super easy to get into and set up for. Id seriously suggest you get into it. If you need and advice on getting setup, shoot me a message Sidenote, can i make you a hatchet for you to use? Ive got alot of steel for them now and it seems like i might be able to do you some good
I've always thought it would be a fun thing to explore! And that would be awesome to have a hand made hatchet! I've been meaning to get a nice new one anyway, the little yellow guy works in a pinch, but the metal it so cheap it doesn't hold an edge well at all.
I hope you went to silver today.... was great! Almost looks like next week will be a full trail weekend... I biffed hard on my fourth run but I made off better then the guy that broke his collar bone... another 26” guy crashed up on the top and I did the only respectable thing and ran with him all the way down(was a trooper, pulled his ankle and his whole arm was a big dirty and red mess, still sent that shit doe’)
Man, i just found your channel! Awesome stuff, i got my first full suspension bike a week ago, giant trance 2. Any advice for a newbie to learn drops n jumps?
Lol I street ride a lot so I’m used to drop to flat so that looked like an amazing landing before u fixed hahha
Haha it wasn't the worst landing ever. I'll need to make a high speed drop now for a landing that's not as steep.
Same
No one:
RUclips comments: "Bro I huck to flat from the top of my local skyscraper every morning lol"

hell ya I just found this channel 30mins ago and I'm subscribed. Amazing work!
Im not first im not last but when the shredist uploads i click fast
Well thats true
Yep the same
Shredist videos are the best
@@Decent.skilife yeah
Lmao
That landing is so sick! Probably one of the best ways to build landings!
You definitely need to move the landing forward or do the drop a lot slower because you are landing at the bottom
yes that is true
agreed
its that near for a reason, its nearly rollable on the lowest setting.
I agre with nils
I love the dog just causing mischief and chasing the bike.

Absolutely nothing wrong with your English, it's actually really good. And you're right, it won't be long till they hit him up at all.
@@carlstanton2550 thanks! Yeah, i'm from the Netherlands so my English isn't my main language haha
I can totally see you guys getting to 100k subs in like two or three months. Keep up the amazing videos!!
That's a sick drop and landing keep up the cool videos
You are so lucky and blessed dude to be able to do and to enjoy that with your wife. Man, she is a good one, do everything you can to keep her. 🤙
probabaly the most underrated youtuber of all time
u should have 1 mill plus subs by next year
You should put a kicker next to the drop to slightly hip into the landing
I was debating doing something along those lines!
I do love your super chill attitude towards everything, keep up the good work.

Oh man that's rough!
I just randomly watched all previous trailbuilds last night and today is a new one, nice
Score!
That Subie is beautiful!
Man I LOVE your vids! You deserve a million subs!
Only a mil? More like 10
Alex Matthew actually screw what I said. He needs Googol
I haven’t seen your channel but that adjustable drop is just awesome
You should make a nice double right after the Crank Plank, Something that you just float over
I have a couple ideas 😉
I love your work, good stuff. I love the way the dog chases you on each drop, so cool.
Amazing vid! Great narration and creativity, with the crank plank. Sure, the big guys have a great backyards, but this will definitely be the most fun and innovative. Great vid.
Giving Seth (BTB) a run for his money, backyard trails and a Polygon sponsor, sick video as always 🤙🏻
Seth..... Who...?
you should pre-jump it to land higher in the transition for the bigger drops.
Sweet video man! Happy to see that you are growing rapidly!
I still cant belive how a human can be that genius like you.
... keep thet high leveld brain in hand love your videos genius thank you
subscribed, i love the vibrance in your video footage, your ideas and builds are awesome, and you inspire me as a biker!
That was a seriously gnarly drop to flat 😆🚲🔥
great job synchronizing with friday fails for a rad friday
So stoked on the videos you're making in our region! Looks like an awesome feature, man!
Just found your channel the other day. Your videos are so good!! Just binge watching them all now haha
Loving your trail build, I am both full of envy and enjoying seeing you build some good trails....
Keep up the good work dude.
Your hub sound is amazing
Love the Vids, I like the rugged tone and aesthetic your features have
Thanks! I really like using natural materials whenever I can. Gives the trail a more woodsy vibe 🤘
Awesome with the adjustable ramp... and the landing looks smooth like butter 🧈 loving the videos always
So glad I found your channel
The landing came out sick! Keep killing it with the videos. 🤘
Love the music and content of your videos. Keep it coming!!
Cant wait to see this finished bro!! Straight into a 90° burm wud be amazing,
Yes, a shame to waste all that momentum.
@@sapinva 90° right then a 90° back left ! Be amazing
Love your channel! The adjustable drop is brilliant.
I started using the stake technique and now I can’t stop. It’s too satisfying
Instant gratification haha
Damn you go kinda deep on that last setting. Good place to learn slow drop skills. Keep up the quality content!
Your production skills are excellent!!Great vid!
Thanks!

The shredist, backyard trail builds and seths bike hacks should do a collaboration
Lmao with Seth's knack for the janky build, btb's woodworking and the shredists' ability to build changeable features I wouldn't be surprised to see a vertical 360 loop that can rotate around to a 45 degree angle wall ride being built.

Nicely built.
Great idea. I've always wanted to make a drop with a removable, length adjustable kicker. You should have adjustable length on the ramp.
The higher you go the more gap you need.
How awesome is that wagon! I bought one and love it!!!!!
It's super nifty! Theres no hope it backing it though when attached to the mower haha
Sick how this drop is adjustable.
Sick content! Love the trail building stuff. Amazing quality and congrats on being sponsored by polygon (like backyard trail builds)
Thanks! I'm definitely thankful for having support from a company like Polygon 😊
Gotta love springtime in Idaho!
So green! And so wet...but then it's going to be 90 tomorrow...Springtime in Idaho indeed.
The Shredist we just moved back to Hayden after being gone for 13 years. So cool to see all that’s happening in the mtb community here!
Nice construction 🤘🏻
Looks really smooth... Love the adjustable drop.
Your riding is good and all but I come for the building! Your builds are so sick and you do a phenomenal job. You should get into physical / structural engineering, it would come so naturally for you.
I honestly kind of regret not going into Architecture or structural engineering for my major. Oh well 😐
DO IT Sarah!
great edit on this again.... that looks killer too btw
Very cool build!! The adjustable drop is still one of my favorite features you've built.
I've been brain storming a few more engineered builds, gotta need to stow away some funds for supplies!
@@TheShredist The struggle is real. I over estimate all my home projects lol.
Now you've got all that spare landing time to get pre-hopping!
At least a foot or two farther on the landing and the lowest one would still be doable. Still looks fun!!!
Feel you need to add one more adjustment to the drop, take off length. Looks like on the higher settings you have to go slow otherwise you land almost at the bottom of the lander
Just some high quality content that I thoroughly enjoy watching!
Landing looks great±
Nice looks like it turned out well
This looks so cool!!! wish i had room in my back yard to do stuff like this! Looks AMAZING
I can't be the only one here who is waiting for Seth's Bike Hacks to upload a new video!

You could have made a adjustable landing. That would be sick!
What kind of hub you running? Interesting sound!!

Thanks for the new video... this is going to be more dope then seths place
The weather sucks, I was gonna build a trail but it has been raging for 2 weeks straight in my city
Definitely make Sara some skinnies! awesome feature.
awesome build! Thanks
Your vids are the best!
This guys so underrated
you should put the drop at the lowest and gap from the up ramp to the landing.
Oh man, you'd have to pedal so hard! Haha

U should take the parts off ur Capra and put them on the polygon
I have a few shiny parts on the way for the Polygon without robbing from the Capra 👍
Is that a 2003 wrx? Cool car
you should add a adjustable landing just because!
Awesome video! Really liked the intro!
You should have made an adjustable landing as well😁
I think you’re gonna beat Seth soon!

What rear hub is that? Such a sweet sweet sound.
Its the new Shimano XT. Sound goes away though and gets silent at speed.
