Always enjoy your analysis. Great song & message! The guys looked like they had a lot of fun doing this video. This was my first introduction to "larping". I agree no other a cappella group has the vocal bass & vocal percussion sound mastered like Home Free.

Always LOVE your analysis of Home Free & appreciate learning about WHY these guys & their arrangements are so phenomenal, but you HAVE to go back & watch the fun & goofy video all the way through because that's the other reasons we love them so much...their incredible "brotherhood" & their absolute goofiness!🤪 It is so cute & sweet especially at the end & the reason you got a "gospel" vibe is because this is a contemporary Christian song by "Need to Breathe"! Then, you need to watch Austin & Rob, "Two country singers TRY singing Opera". It's on Austin's channel. No percussion or bass, just "surprise"! 🤗& 😘from SE Tennessee!😊

I agree. It was an excellent reaction and helped me focus on the music which is wonderful! Even after many views I find it hard to avoid getting caught up in the video, but the music is really good
I love this! D&D with Stars Wars, Braveheart and LOTR thrown in for good measure. I love that Adam got to be the hero and how appropriate that he used the resurrection/healing spell on the others so they could take out the last bad guy together. Kudos for the cartwheel. I couldn't go one as a kid let alone at 40
We've been waiting (too long) for you to get to this amazing cover by HF. I always enjoy hearing your expertise and perspective and watching your delight when they produce vocally what you're sensing should be happening musically (building, bridges, harmonies, fills, etc.). Keep the joy coming with more HF songs, there's lots left to explore - I suggest more originals like their latest, What's Left of My Heart written by Tim, or the many on their Dive Bar Saints LP.

This is so awesome!!!! So cool and funny but at the same time so sweet!!! Beautiful how they are dressed up, all one by one fabulous. What a beautiful start from Chance with a voice so smooth and sexy. And even though it looked cool, it was almost a shame that you didn't see his face through that helmet for a while. 😊
Then our soulful Rob, the teddy bear with his beautiful voice as soft as silk and his very high note!! ❤ Who sings while lying down and later received a sweet kiss on his injured finger from Tim😂
Tim with his beautiful pathetic dragon and who with his bass could have knocked everyone down in my opinion. 😉
Austin with his amazing moves and a voice just like he looked. And I think Amberly loved knocking him down. 😅
Then Adam Rupp, who I think has always been magical with his vocal percussion/vocal sounds, but proved once again that he is The Magier/The Wizard and the glue of Home Free.

I’ve been looking forward to this for days. Put on my ear buds as soon as I saw the notification because I always wanna hear what you’re hearing in the background! While I believe you enjoy their humorous side which is HERE in this video and other reactors love to comment on that as well as their talent, what you focus on is the musicality of their performances. I love to see your admiration for their “instruments” as well as the arrangements! Personally, something would’ve been lacking in this if not for Rob’s (your favorite beard!) gorgeous falsetto! I love everything about this video - the song, the message of the song, the singing, beatboxing, harmonies - all of it. The woman who clubs Austin (the elf) is his lady Amberly and she keeps waling on them in the background. Just a terrific video - thanks for playing it, your comments & analysis.

Ok, I am a Home Free junky, and I freely admit that I go from reactor to reactor watching breakdowns of their music. I particularly enjoy your channel because you focus on the percussion in a way that others usually just don’t - it’s mentioned, but not really broken down. It’s great to hear an actual drummer and musician explain why certain little additions that Adam does works so well and adds so much more to their incredible vocals. I have a (limited) background in vocal music, so it’s really interesting and educational for me to hear it from your perspective. Thanks for that, and don’t worry about pausing! We’re here to hear your take on these songs, and hopefully get a richer portrait of Home Free’s genius! Keep ‘em coming. I’d love to hear your reaction to Austin and Rob singing Nessun Dorma together. It’s quite amazing, and you’ll definitely get a whole new picture of their talent.

The music these men make is magic, but most of the reviews I've seen of this particular song concentrate on the video, not the vocal performance of the song. It has to be way harder to be an accapela group then a band because they don't just sing together they have to harmonize and make all the sounds. Homefree has mastered this.

One thing that I notice about Home Free that I don't get with the other a capella groups is that they make me totally forget I'm listening to an a capella group. At the end of every song, I kind of shake myself to remind myself there are no instruments. After a few months of listening, you would think I'd get that, but THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD. The exception to this is the songs when they do 5-part harmony without vocal percussion.

What I found "funny" was that you OBVIOUSLY paid a lot of attention to the music, which is fine, but almost NO attention to the video itself! You may have watched it earlier, but pls keep in mind that WE are watching you for YOUR reactions, and that INCLUDES the video, which sets the whole stage for their music. I'm just asking for you to pay closer attention to the ENTIRE thing, and not only the music. They didn't make the video for nothing, is all I'm saying.

This was great! Home Free and Pentatonix are 2 of my favorites! I just subscribed to you a few days ago when I came across your reaction to Hallelujah by Pentatonix. I went through all of your posted reactions and did not see a reaction video for Pentatonix Aha Singapore Live from Star Vista. You have seriously got to check that out. It is completely MINDBLOWING! Awesome job reviewing this musically! I would get so distracted by the humor in the video that it was difficult to stay focused on what was going on with the vocals!
Great reaction as usual. Love the way you can point out something in the arrangement very quickly and move on. My daughter went with me to their concert with me last year but didn't want to listen to Home Free's version of this song because she loves the original so much. I had never heard it so I checked it out and must admit I loved it too. It's a great song. Home Free's version is very different, but I think they are both equally good.
