  • Merry Christmas everyone!
With permission from Jerico (and as someone involved in this project), I unleash the actual nitrate print out in the wild. I hope with this print, it helps the discourse in regards to film preservation, Looney Tunes, and anything film related.
My only request: if you use this print for whatever reason, please credit the Library of Congress. If you're going to edit out anything, just credit the Library of Congress in some way as you share. Otherwise: do as you wish, this is public domain.
Special thanks to Simas Bekeris for helping me getting this upload ready. If you wish for this in even better quality, holler in the comments. Just respect the LOC wish.
May the RUclips bots treat this upload kindly.

“Now, do a Cantor.” I didn’t get the gag back then, But I do now and I see the humor in it.

We finally get to hear the full version of the Sportsmen singing "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm". In the Blue Ribbon version, the narrator talks over them after they sing "So please come back..."

Bob Clampett puts the "wa" in "wacky."

Better than the crappy Blue Ribbon reissue print from 1949, thanks for this find (and the Library of Congress too!)

The blue ribbon copy is fine, as that was the version restored.

While it's unfortunate that the WB logo is missing, it's a real treat to see and hear a real 35mm Technicolor Nitrate print.

And now we finally get the deleted scene from the blue ribbon found and as well as the original music before the manager talks over it

Alright dunno if YT will accept this, but here's a lossless version that Simas made.

There's like a 40 GB raw file we all have, but we're all unsure on how to share that. This should hopefully suffice for now.

@@clem4999 Thank you! This is incredible. If you'd like to connect or work on anything else please let me know. I love scans of actual film prints and the public domain so this is a very nice overlap.

So was this the debut of the faster more vibrant intro of Merrily We Roll Along?
