Saying that they're are some amazing colours on trend this Spring Summer with the neon pinks and periwinkle, both brilliant shades so I'll never say never on the pops of colour but for now I am really loving my neutral tones:) x

H&M is now offering clothes in cotton knits without polyester, I’ve bought several things recently in this, my favorite, fabric. This makes the brand so much better for me, I can’t wear polyester, even in blends.
I have been eyeing that blue blouse from Sezane but hadn't pulled the trigger on it. Looks gorgeous on you and you've convinced me I also need it for my Spring wardrobe. I am also looking for a taupe belt and shoes and love the ones you found at Arket. I'll have to give them a try. Those earrings from Carat are just gorgeous. And as for the outfits I really loved what you were wearing. The frilly blouse looks very familiar, though in a different colour, as some thing I wore when I was in school, I suppose in the 70s or the 80s? I can highly recommend the shoes too, well that brand full stop to be honest. I love their collection and I really rate the quality too. Morning Kris, thanks for getting in touch. I would say go for a UK10, Reiss are always pretty true to size I find. I mean it’s not meant to be a tight dress, the top portion is a little slouchy but nicely so:) Hope that helps lovely x

Sézane is one brand that used to only use natural materials and this new Spring collection has many pieces in POLYESTER. I do not pay such price point for synthetic materials.

Am in my mid seventies but there are pieces here that even this old gal can wear. Particularly favour -- Midi Pencil & Cami top # 2 / Knit dress #8 / Blazer & Trousers #3 #5. Also appreciate the sensibility of the footwear. Overall super and thankyou.

Hi Jess - thanks for the wonderful outfit ideas. I noticed the Arket belt in outfit 6 before you talked about it later. Just one question - how long is it? On you, the length seems normal, although I can't see where the end of the belt is - but on the Arket website the belt seems to be really long with the model wearing it with the end dangling down to the middle of her thigh! The model is probably really slim so that's the reason for it, so that wouldn't happen in my case with a larger waist, but an idea of the length would be useful. I had a similar belt in tan which I wore for years which as you mentioned, was really useful, as you could adjust the fit really easily without having to get new holes punched in it. Morning lovely, that is a tough one as they're both gorgeous! The camel is a classic and I think if you don't already have a camel trench I'd go for that. It will last a lifetime, never date and goes with just about everything! If however you do already have something that ticks that box then the khaki makes a beautiful alternative. Size wise I'm a very true size 10 and I do prefer sizing up to a 12. The 10 fits perfectly, but almost too perfect and tailored for me. Plus the 12 just enables me to use it more often as there's enough room to wear a jumper underneath for Spring and Autumn etc. The 12 is by no means slouchy/oversized, just a touch more room. Hope that helps, let me know what you decide to go with x

Personally I do not like the frilly detail on the sweater. It reminds me of the futuristic outfits in early 80s videos ( which to me is not a good look lol ). Haha it's not for everyone I know:) You could deviate slightly and do sharper shoulders instead if that's something you like? Failing that hold on for lots of new season pieces coming through, theres some beautiful dresses I've seen about recently without a frilly shoulder in sight! x
After this video I immediately went to COS to try on that skirt 😂. While there I found the most amazing kind of knitted White dress...so long saving this month haha. They only had the skirt in s36 and I wasn't sure how the size down would be. I'll order that online. Its an amazing classic find! I'm still on the hunt for a dark navy maxi skirt that doesn't accentuate my hips like crazy.

Hi Tracy, no taxes to pay, I believe they include any extra costs in the price so theres nothing else added. Postage is free over £200 and returns are free too. I've never had a problem shopping there at all x

With H & M a lot of what they have done so far is greenwashing. they say the recycle clothes and you can drop items in a bin in the store to be recycled but they dont say where it goes. they promote sustainable materials but when you look at the tag it is often a small % of the mix in the material. I have roamed their stores here in OZ and the amount of conscious collection is very small overall. fundamentally they are problematic because of the business model which is fast fashion. they also behaved very badly not honouring contracts with garment companies in Bangladesh initially during the pandemic and it was only with public pressure that they honoured these. I enjoy watching your edits of what’s coming out fashion wise. Gives me good info ( 6 months ahead of time because I am in the Southern Hemisphere) in the careful as possible selection that I try to apply to my wardrobe as I try to get 30 wears at least out of any purchase to have a more sustainable wardrobe. However detest H & M with a passion. They are a fast fashion green washing company that exploits poor offshore workers. They may be trying to change but it will take a lot for me to be betwixed by the brand. However please know that I really enjoy your style edits.

You bring us so many lovely things this week Jess. For some strange reason it was the belt for me. Such an amazing colour. You show how accessories can bring an outfit together so amazingly. And as for the outfits I really loved what you were wearing. The frilly blouse looks very familiar, though in a different colour, as some thing I wore when I was in school, I suppose in the 70s or the 80s? (Im 54) It is so Sézane; they really know how to take some thing from the past and make it look modern, lighter, fresh. Thanks so much again for all of these beautiful things that you send out to us. Morning Kris, thanks for getting in touch. I would say go for a UK10, Reiss are always pretty true to size I find. I mean it’s not meant to be a tight dress, the top portion is a little slouchy but nicely so:) Hope that helps lovely x

Sézane is one brand that used to only use natural materials and this new Spring collection has many pieces in POLYESTER. I do not pay such price point for synthetic materials.

Hi Jess - thanks for the wonderful outfit ideas. I noticed the Arket belt in outfit 6 before you talked about it later. Just one question - how long is it? On you, the length seems normal, although I can't see where the end of the belt is - but on the Arket website the belt seems to be really long with the model wearing it with the end dangling down to the middle of her thigh! The model is probably really slim so that's the reason for it, so that wouldn't happen in my case with a larger waist, but an idea of the length would be useful. I had a similar belt in tan which I wore for years which as you mentioned, was really useful, as you could adjust the fit really easily without having to get new holes punched in it. Morning lovely, that is a tough one as they're both gorgeous! The camel is a classic and I think if you don't already have a camel trench I'd go for that. It will last a lifetime, never date and goes with just about everything! If however you do already have something that ticks that box then the khaki makes a beautiful alternative. Size wise I'm a very true size 10 and I do prefer sizing up to a 12. The 10 fits perfectly, but almost too perfect and tailored for me. Plus the 12 just enables me to use it more often as there's enough room to wear a jumper underneath for Spring and Autumn etc. The 12 is by no means slouchy/oversized, just a touch more room. Hope that helps, let me know what you decide to go with x

Personally I do not like the frilly detail on the sweater. It reminds me of the futuristic outfits in early 80s videos ( which to me is not a good look lol ). Haha it's not for everyone I know:) You could deviate slightly and do sharper shoulders instead if that's something you like? Failing that hold on for lots of new season pieces coming through, theres some beautiful dresses I've seen about recently without a frilly shoulder in sight! x
After this video I immediately went to COS to try on that skirt 😂. While there I found the most amazing kind of knitted White dress...so long saving this month haha. They only had the skirt in s36 and I wasn't sure how the size down would be. I'll order that online. Its an amazing classic find! I'm still on the hunt for a dark navy maxi skirt that doesn't accentuate my hips like crazy.

Hi Tracy, no taxes to pay, I believe they include any extra costs in the price so theres nothing else added. Postage is free over £200 and returns are free too. I've never had a problem shopping there at all x

With H & M a lot of what they have done so far is greenwashing. they say the recycle clothes and you can drop items in a bin in the store to be recycled but they dont say where it goes. they promote sustainable materials but when you look at the tag it is often a small % of the mix in the material. I have roamed their stores here in OZ and the amount of conscious collection is very small overall. fundamentally they are problematic because of the business model which is fast fashion. they also behaved very badly not honouring contracts with garment companies in Bangladesh initially during the pandemic and it was only with public pressure that they honoured these. I enjoy watching your edits of what’s coming out fashion wise. Gives me good info ( 6 months ahead of time because I am in the Southern Hemisphere) in the careful as possible selection that I try to apply to my wardrobe as I try to get 30 wears at least out of any purchase to have a more sustainable wardrobe. However detest H & M with a passion. They are a fast fashion green washing company that exploits poor offshore workers. They may be trying to change but it will take a lot for me to be betwixed by the brand. However please know that I really enjoy your style edits.
