Ours came with the window attached to the fabric already, so we didn't need to glue that part. Before replacing it, the old window was attempted to be glued back up but nothing was working. If you are talking about the inner fabric after replacing the top, we did not have any luck getting that attached and it is still sagging slightly.
@nickfreeberg_WICKET I have seen many products... silicone for glass etc... 3m or other brands... but I don't know which one works well... I have the fabric peeled off from the rear glass and I want to do a good job, while I have a plastic that looks like batman's car 😂😅
Hey - thanks for the video. I am needing to this to my daughters bug. Where did you get the top? Since it's been a few months, still good? Thanks again.
Yes, it is still holding up good. I was afraid because of the amount of stretching it needed, but it has not ripped, and the top is able to be put up and down with no issues. My daughter got it from Ebay. The only issue is something with the inner fabric for the rear window is loose.
This was very helpful. So much so that, I'm encourage to take care of it myself rather than paying $2,500 to do it.
@mauriceadammarquez2523 Cool, glad it helped. Ours is still holding up fine.
Cool video.
Good video. I just replaced mine. How did you attach the headliner to the back window? Mine doesn't have a channel at the top or bottom either.
@mdcampbell14 We never did get the headliner attached to the back window. It just hangs loose. That's been the only big issue I can think of though.
I genuinely had to lough at the beginning and at the end. Made my day man :) Dropped a like for you :)
Thanks
Hi my friend ... Can you recommend some glue for my rear window...thanks

@@nickfreeberg_WICKET Always curious of the ebay ones, unless you want to buy from factory $$$$. Thanks for the reply.
Where did you buy the soft top from? I'm trying to replace mine too.
We bought it on Ebay. It is still holding up just fine.
