GM Kof hard frame extended, frame widened, only billet 4 rotor ever built, awd
Every other car: safe to approach when engine turns off
Robs car: turns engine off....wait for it..... *boom*.... okay you can get close now.
Reminds me of Windows 95 "its safe to turn off now" screen.
Rob Dahms RX-7: "its safe to approach now"
LOL, the engine on my concrete cutting saws did that too when shut off hot, because they had mechanical fuel pumps and 40 lb flywheels. So, on shutdown, it would move a lot of fuel through the cylinders, into the muffler, where it would explode lol.
@@Nevir202 I've had a couple lawnmowers do that. Turn the engine off..........wait for it......*gunshot* 🤣
Much respect for Rob the only man who spends thousands on a project that has never been done before and just absolutely beats on it right from the rip. If it breaks it breaks and this thing has surprised me a lot thus far. Biggest surprise is that its actually completed.
The smile on your face!
It’s also great to see how much all you guys are fans of each other’s cars - you drooling over the Hoonicorn, the Hoonigan guys like kids over your Mazda
I love how excited Rob was at the end, true happiness in the moment
Subbed back in the day when you had the Diablo and 3 rotor. It’s like graduation day with that burnie
I love how genuine rob is it makes me so happy seeing him get so excited over his dream come true :)
Dahm is so genuine I love him
Your joy gives me joy. From a backyard rotary builder from Australia bloody well done mate!!!
10:24 now that's what you call an adrenaline rush! Big congrats Rob!
This account has given me a whole new love and respect for rotaries
this thing is bullet proof.
Great work Sir! 4 years later 4 rotors over 200k over 1000 awd hp.. and still running.. can’t wait for 6 rotor.. 2026 and 2000hp!!!!! ❤️🤙
Huge congrats to you Rob. I’ve been following this build ever since I saw it at SEMA as a proof of concept and it’s been a frustrating pleasure watching it come together. I can’t imagine the feeling you must of had when she smoked all four! I can’t wait to see her finished. Idk how 283 lames could dislike this video but they clearly have no idea what it takes to make a dream come true cause they have never done it
Ultimate RUclips project car. 1,000 HP at wheels, all the wheels. Won't idle. Go Rob go!! And as a bonus after a tethered AWD burnout it puts itself on the trailer.
11:36 -rx7: GET OUT OF ME *fire*
+whoah
rx7 it's mad
It backfires after it shuts off I've never seen anything like it
That shot of Scotto coming to hug you is beautiful. "Daddy?" Lmao
haha
Feel so proud, like I was part of this build myself, haha. Been following forever. So stoked!! Wow
Chat on the livestream went absolutely insane just from you backing it off the trailer and driving to the display. So happy this has come to fruition
That genuine uncontrollable giddy joy when you hopped out of the car. That pulls heart strings. What an incredible experience, well done good sir!
damn i literally cried, damn rob, PROUD
I enjoy starting my mornings with some brap, great job Rob! Car sounds amazing.
Works as a great lullaby too
Best outro ever 😂 also I've watched the ig videos about a hundred times now, still get goose bumps
I know this is two years late but hearing the happiness of his dreams coming true, and the team supporting him knowing damn well they all put blood and tears into this thing, brought goosebumps to my arms
Dude, what an awesome thing to achieve a dream like you showed in this video! People go their whole lives without taking action and regret not taking risks in order to follow their heart. You are showing people in your videos that anyone can do anything if they are willing to take the leap and make the sacrifices! Congratulations on following your dreams!
Starts burnout, engages Ricky Bobby mode: “I don’t know what to do with my hands”.
Underrated joke right here 👌
I stayed up until 4am in Sweden just to see you do your burnout live :D
This made me cry. So freaking proud! Been following the build since day 1
Yo you have made huge step in this progress with this one clip! I’m so stoked to finally see some rubber being melted🤘🏼🤘🏼 can’t wait to see more of it!
Rob Dahm is such a perfectionist that's why none of his cars ever get finished fully and when I say finish fully I mean that they work without any problems every time he goes out there are problems and I mean major problems
The first video I ever watched from Rob was about how "silencers" in games were wrong. Then from there I have watched his entire journey to get to this stage and I can say that I'm so proud of ur achievement rob and I fckn hope that now that it's pretty much just aesthetics that this car is lacking, I'm expecting for this to look Jaw droppingly good coz we know u only want perfection.
(and yea rob if u looking at stats and calling me a liar it's coz I've subbed to u on multiple accounts coz i keep forgetting my password to each account xD)
Yeah man, me too
Forgot about that holyshit
imo, the car is sexy in it's current state. the exposed engine bay is beautiful. i would keep it like that or at least only add minimal body panels because the exposed engine bay is niiiice.
That's true! Omg I remember those videos! Wow. Time has gone quite fast
I remember he gave advice on how he could afford his Diablo, been long time
This shit so wholesome man, loved your genuine freak out aftet the burnout, grearest achievement ever bro. Honestly been great watching this car flourish to life over the past 4 years
Love how the engine stalls when rolling into the arena before letting all hell loose and finishing it off with the little fire "pop"
Iv been watching this build for a long time and being a technician for mazda in England I finally took the plunge and bought my first rotary and I love it. Much ❤
AN AMAZING PIECE OF ENGINEERING ,A guy who had a vision and through all the ups and downs and years spent building his car ,BINGO it works .Well done .WHO ever said you can not find it in a SCRAP YARD ?
Seeing it live was definitely an experience! Wanted to take a pic with you but so many people where around you at all times maybe next time
This thing was one of the best cars to see at the Burn Yard Bash. Insane! Thanks for bringing it for us to see.
Woow that’s crazy, I was LITERALLY just checking your instagram page to see any update on the video and the notification shows up while I’m watching your stories 😂😂♥️
It’s badass for you to say that kens you’re inspiration, then i see you in a little teaser clip on his next video racing the hoonicorn badass dude. Congrats!
In my opinion, this is the coolest this car will ever be. The first rip is always the best. Congrats, Mr. Dahm, on this massively impressive achievement!
Congrats rob! I almost teared up when you got out and everyone was cheering 😬 was a long road but you made it!!!!
