Before you read the Bible, you must acknowledge that it's the word of God and ALL OF IT IS TRUE. Then as you read , ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. You will find that many of today's churches are not according to ALL of God's word.

Just because something is hyperbole doesn't mean it isn't true. The antichrist is described as a dragon at one point however are we to believe it is a real flying dragon or on reference to something else? Or when Christ is described as a lamb, are we to believe that He actually wasn't human, but a lamb??

The word of God will always prevail and remain intact, but this does not mean people cannot corrupt their pen in copying from the preserved sources because they were not entrusted the truth in handling the scriptures.
2 thess 2:7 is a prime example of corrupting the pen and unfortunately it is a universal mistranslation.
Some copies correct others corrupted pens but all english copies have this error unfortunately. But can be corrected if they were willing to admit their errors.
2 thessalonians 2:1-8 (when correctly translated and interpreted)
1.Now we beseech you, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the Day of the Lord is at hand.
      3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a apostasy first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called god, or that is worshipped; so that he as god sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what restrains(neuter vs.3) that He(Messiah Yeshua) might be revealed in His time.
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he(the antichrist) who now restrains(masculine) will do so until out of the midst he comes into being.
8 And then shall he be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness(glory of the Father) of His coming

    October 23, 2020.
My daughter and I were watching a movie when God put us into a sleep. I was given ears into heaven and heard a shofar trumpet sound!
I was told, “Prepare. Ready yourself!”
My daughter and I awoke at the same time, grabbing one another’s hand and saying, “The Trumpet!!!!”
Then I asked, “how did you hear what I heard?”
She said the Holy Spirit told her that it sounded prior to waking.
Last week, as I slept, I dreamed.
In the dream, I looked into the sky over a desert land. I saw a lion and dragon fighting in the sky. I don’t know what it means. But they were fighting like something I had never seen before.
Holdfast. Jesus will keep those that abide in Him.

I get so fatigued with all of these vague visions and dreams. You may have experienced what you experienced, but I just wish that it wasn't all so vague. There's nothing ever definitive with detail. It's always big picture vague generalities like, "Jesus is coming! Prepare!", or, "Ominous things are approaching!", or, "The hour is coming!" We know that. It doesn't take a vision or dream to tell us that.
Give us details if we humans are being given visions! Tell us something like, "Grey aliens are part of the serpent's agenda to create hybrid human beings (this is directly referenced with regard to the seed of the serpent mixing with the seed of mankind but not cleaving to one another, aka children are being produced without marriage) and they will soon land and openly display themselves to humankind and they will claim to be our creators and you must prepare to resist by memorizing these particular scriptures and working out your body so that you're strong enough to make it through these times which are coming in 1.5 years and will start in the city of Albuquerque!". That's the kind of details we need in these visions, dreams, and prophecies!

There is a HUGE battle between the 2 of them for the soul of humanity going on in The Heavens. He wins!!! Thank you Jesus for paying the price a long time ago!

@educational4434 God asks us to have FAITH. We do not deserve all the answers laid out like a map, we serve God not the other way around. An example, God told me after a month of praying about buying a violin, God told me to stop looking and someone would give me a children's violin (I'm a very small person so hindsight was this made perfect sense for my frame) and I didn't ask for more details, it's my business to trust God and watch him work! And guess what? A week later I was talking to a client about violins and she stops me and tells me her daughter has a violin and wants to give it to me because she doesn't play anymore! God is literally so good, God gives us foresight for his Glory not our satisfaction.
God also asks his people to stay on guard and stay awake for the day he knocks at the door. These people's visions and dreams are to alert everyone and remind them. Stay awake for the day our master returns.

If you think of it that is thousands of thousands of Christians have gone over the scriptures for a explanation . None have succeeded. Only God the Father knows and he aint telling yet. In the mean time I will put my soul in Gods hands, my heart in my faith in the Lord Jesus and trust the Holy spirit to get me through today. Tomorrow Ill do the same. Gracias Jason Vaya con Dios.

When I read I just kinda read and I think of how what I'm reading is relatable to me in any way. For me, if I don't truly understand what I read when I read it then I move on and just know that it isn't for me to know yet-whereas something else is. Considering that it's obvious that we cannot learn and know everything at once, so we must pick and choose what we want to learn and I trust the Lord enough to teach me by guiding my wants. My wants are not my own and no matter how much I read and study, I can't examine it as deeply as Jason does. So I listen and follow along with him

Scholars have been debating these ideas of prophecy for millenia. It's incredibly narcissistic to assume that he doesn't read his Bible enough because he has come to a different conclusion to you.

Daniel 2 and 3 shows that “the great tribulation” is a repeating theme that happens when God’s people fall away. You see the pattern throughout Jeremiah, with false prophets telling people who were committing abominations that no trouble would come upon them. (Then God sends the abomination that causes desolation, to force people to choose Him or a false God. This happens many times throughout history.)
One was set up in Daniel chapter 3 that they were told to bow to or get thrown into the furnace, and that abomination signified the golden head of the statue in Daniel 2.
There was another set up during the Maccabee rebellion, which was before Christ came.
I personally think there’s some major assumptions being made about what Joel was talking about, especially since Peter quotes Joel 2 in Acts 2 at Pentecost, signifying THAT was the day (at least in part) which Joel was prophesying.
Joel is very likely talking also about the great and final tribulation also… (which the clay feet that won’t mix with the iron represents)aka mystery Babylon.
The Roman armies after Jesus’s time likely represented the Iron legs, not the clay feet, which is the FINAL tribulation:
“As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭2‬:‭43‬-‭44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The DECEPTION is going to be so great and it wasn’t yet qualified to happen in Paul’s day:
“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. … The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
    ‭‭II Thessalonians‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭4‬, ‭9‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The church was just being built in the first century. To say the great falling away happened then… idk. I think that judgement came for the Jews not accepting them, not what will come upon those who fall away from the deception that is to come. They weren’t even facing any deception like Christ describes.
The final ‘Babylon’ really looks to be literally a global government when you look at Revelation 13 with the mark of the beast, which I really doubt happened yet, and most scholars agree was written after the tribulation of the first century.
The remnant are also the ones who are not deceived by the deceptive teachings, lying signs and wonders that will be in the last days (sounds a lot like deep fakes and the nature of things we are just starting to see now.
Respectfully, just a few things to think about, Jason. I think there were too many pieces missing for the tribulation of the first century to be the great and final tribulation in my opinion. I recommend checking out Michael Heiser on the topic. He is extremely knowledgeable and covers all different viewpoints about the tribulation and also end times. Thank you for the content though. I’ll continue looking into it. God bless.

As you have already commented on the cyclical nature of the falling away of Gods chosen priesthood as documented throughout scripture beautifully I’ll only offer this extra relating to the temple. The temple is sacred space wherein Gods chosen meet with Him. We see the temple defiled over and over in scripture as well, going along with the falling away/apostasy of the people. The end times defilement of the temple is connected to the last falling away prior to Christs return in which He cleanses the temple for the last time. Those who have crept in unawares, that have been preordained to this condemnation will be shaken out during the Great tribulation of the End. This is the final destruction of the temple wherein Gods people will be refined through fire to be made ready for the groom. A bride made perfect through sufferings that come when the dragon is cast out and gives his power to the beast who will set up the abomination of desolation in the temple/Church. This future abomination will be the last whoredom we see take place when Gods “people” (pretenders) lift their skirts for the beast and are impregnated with his seed because they didn’t love the truth. The church will worship the beast and God will preserve a remnant. The majority will worship the beast from fear and the overspreading of abomination. This is why we must prepare spiritually to stand during tribulations. Time is coming when no man can work.

I like where you are going with this. It is often assumed that the "Olivette Discourse" was all about the end times in our day, when clearly as you are pointing out, much of it happened in the past. The exaggerated language has to really be understood by the Spirit, and in the light of the rest of scripture, remembering first and foremost, that the Bible is a spiritual book. You are doing a fine job of explaining that with the whole of scripture. Jesus spoke to everyone in parables, but would explain the mysteries to his disciples. That being said, Jesus probably still left them scratching their heads after this discourse.

  • @gregtaylor8304
    @gregtaylor8304 2 месяца назад +32

This is a false teaching and twisting of scripture. So many things wrong here that it would take a lot more space than what is acceptable here to examine in detail. However here are a few key points...
#1 We are to rightly divide the word. Jesus was addressing the disciples who are Jews and what he describes in the latter part of Matthew 24 is specifically for the Jews in the Tribulation, not for the church. The Tribulation (also referred to as Daniel's 70th week) is twofold, when God's wrath is poured out on a Christ rejecting world and also for the salvation of the Jewish nation as God's covenant with Israel still stands until all is fulfilled following the Great White Throne judgement.
#2 If this were referring to the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D. and the persecution of the church (which has been ongoing and continues to this day) then where is the Antichrist? The mark? The one world government, economy and religion? The 10 Kingdoms and 10 rulers? The two witnesses? The angel flying in the midst of heaven warning those on the earth not to receive the mark? Where is the blessed hope and promise that the church(those who are born again) are not appointed to wrath? If the church is here in the tribulation then why is the church not mentioned once from the beginning of Revelation 4:1 until the end when the church returns with Christ at the final battle? Why does scripture describe us being "caught up"...( Harpazo in Greek, Rapturo in Latin... from which the scripture was translated into the English language ) to meet the Lord in the AIR, whereas in the Second Coming Christ returns to earth (the very mount of Olives to be precise) to establish his millennial reign from Jerusalem? Why would Jesus "go to prepare a place for us" if he were simply returning to the earth at the Second Coming? Sooo many things off here.
#3 Scripture interprets scripture and is not of any private interpretation. There is a very severe warning to those who would add to or subtract from the book of Revelation (Revelation 22)
Not to be taken lightly. I pray that you will seek the Lord on this matter and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you. Though it is true that all scripture is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness, not all scripture is written specifically to us in the age of grace... the Bible doesn't contradict itself and we are told in it that it is dispensational (the exact word dispensation is used several times) and needs to be rightly divided. God's word is revealed to all those who are born again by the indwelling Holy Spirit and is not only for the scholarly or intellectual. The word tells us that mans wisdom is foolishness and throughout scripture God chose people of low degree or educational level to communicate His plan to or message and were used mightily so that there would be absolutely no debate that it was God at work and not philosophical men. This is not meant to discourage, only to present the truth of God's word. I pray the Lord will increase your understanding as he so graciously has mine and many others the past several years.

Brother, first let me say that Jesus has prepared a place, but we don't occupy that place until after the millennial reign, and the great white throne judgement happens. You are confusing events. You will find it hard to believe unless you actually only seek truth, but the rapture of the church doesn't happen until Revelation 11:18. Regardless if you want to believe it or not, we are not escaping what is to come. You need to start preparing yourself to decide whether or not you will take the soon coming mark. We are already in the first 1260 day count. Don't believe me, just watch Israel. And another thing, Jesus most certainly was Jewish, but He was speaking to the founding fathers of the Church at the Olivet Discourse, not just some jews on the street corner. Your POV is very wrong concerning that. We Christians are grafted into Israel, we are all going through this together. What armies are coming against the Antichrist if only the jews were to go through the 7 years. Pre trib is a completely false teaching

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
    Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
There will be worldwide tribulation my friend.

In Matthew 24 He explains the same you have explained Jason but more detailed and how what it is written in Matthew 24 was the fulfillment of what is written in the book of Daniel chapters 7, and 9. May God grant us time to diligently study Matthew 24, as sadly we have been lied to or perhaps the people who taught us this were taught by other people who lack biblical knowledge and discernment.

Matthew 24 verse 3 is the disciples asking Jesus several questions, not just one.
Jesus goes on to give them very detailed answers and much of the answer is things that will happen that aren't to be taken as signs.
Keep in mind that it wasn't just about the 70ad event but that it was also about His second coming and the end of the world, which is really the beginning of the new world for everyone in Him.
There's thousands of years apparent in Matthew 24.
Paraphrased "All these things but the end is not yet".
The mysteries are revealed through the Epistles and Revelation.
If you are applying Matthew 24 to your paradigm without consideration of Romans 9 10 and 11, you are doing so without one of several key mysteries revealed.

Matt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Many people are confused by this verse because they do not recognize the Hebrew idiom “heaven and earth.” It is a compound metaphor that God used to refer to the agreement between God and the people of Israel (Jacob’s descendants), or the Mosaic covenant. Moses told them,
`When thou begettest sons and sons' sons, and ye have become old in the land, and have done corruptly, and have made a graven image, a similitude of anything, and have done the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, to provoke Him to anger: -- 26 I have caused to testify against you this day the heavens and the earth, that ye do perish utterly hastily from off the land whither ye are passing over the Jordan to possess it; ye do not prolong days upon it, but are utterly destroyed; (Deu. 4:25-26, YLT)
      What would testify against them?
And it cometh to pass, when Moses finisheth to write the words of this law on a book till their completion, 25 that Moses commandeth the Levites bearing the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, saying, 26 `Take this Book of the Law, and thou hast set it on the side of the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, and it hath been there against thee for a witness; (Deu. 31:24-26, YLT)
It was the law, the Mosaic covenant which God called “heaven and earth” that was to be the witness that would testify against the people. It was symbolic language for His creation of His people (Isa. 51:13-16), the agreement between God and Israel (Ex. 19:5-8)
When God prophesied in Isa. 65:17 and Isa. 66:22 that He was creating “new heavens and a new earth,” He was not speaking literally, but covenantally. The immediate sense was to re-establish the covenant with Israel upon their return from the Babylonian captivity. The fuller sense was looking forward to the new covenant He would establish under the gospel of Christ.
The Jews used the phrase “heaven and earth” to refer to the temple where God met with man. One of the meanings of the architectural symbols and elements used within that temple represented the literal heavens and earth of God’s creation. (1) (2) Therefore, Matt. 5:18 is understood in the language of the first century Jews as “till the Mosaic Covenant pass…” or “till the temple passes…” That was what they would have understood from the phrase “heaven and earth.” Jesus was not speaking of the literal heavens and earth of the literal cosmos.
That temple “heaven and earth” passed away at its destruction in AD 70 by the Romans whom God used to carry out His judgment against those wicked who had crucified their promised Messiah. And, that old covenant that was waxing old (Heb. 8:13) when the book of Hebrews was written in about AD 65-66 was completely fulfilled by and through Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins. Those were the last days of that old Mosaic covenant.
Our new covenant with YHVH is under the gospel of Christ, and He is our only sacrifice, our only way to our Father in heaven (John 14:6). There are no other sacrifices to be made (Heb. 10:26). We are no longer under the Mosaic covenant.

@@Denise0752 thank you for this, heaven and earth is something I have been grappling with on how to explain it to someone who thinks it means literal heaven and earth. I pretty much agree with everything you said, but my understanding is that heaven and earth refers to the actual people of God, or the Israelites, not the covenant. So when it says there is a new heaven and earth it means that God will have a new chosen people, specifically all believing remnant Jews and Gentiles. Is referring to all the things he said from verse 5 to 33. That generation who sees all these things will not pass away until they all come to pass. Those are the signs of the times and the sign of His coming. he's letting them know when it'll happen when the generation that sees all those things see them, they are the final generation.
He says the abomination of desolation that Daniel spoke of refers to a very specific event. Paul refers to him in second Thessalonians as the Lawless one. He is a man that will set up an image of himself in the temples holy of holies. That's when those who are in Judea should flee to the mountains and not Terry before doing so.

Hyperbole is a common occurrence in the scripture brother. Lk 14.26: “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters-yes, even his own life- he cannot be my disciple.”
Does Jesus literally want us to HATE our mothers and fathers? No, we are commanded to love our mothers and fathers and to provide for our families. This is clearly hyperbole. The love in which we love our family should look like “hate” compared to the love that we have for Christ

@@ogloc6308 Symbolism and hyperbole are integrally distinct. Hyperbolic language is by definition an obvious exaggeration or overstatement. By considering a claim or statement to be hyperbolic, you’re asserting the statement isn’t meant to be taken seriously or literal.
Symbolism, on the other hand, is a much better way to understand not only the points you’re making, but the Bible in general. Symbolism doesn’t inherently imply an exaggerative interpretation, that shouldn’t be taken seriously or literal. Instead, it allows for deeper meaning and truths to be illuminated.

That 70 week count in Dan 9 repeated a second time in 1535 when the Ottomans also made a decree to repair Jerusalem, building the walls that surround it today in 1538-1541. 62 weeks after that decree, Jerusalem was reunited with Israel, fulfilling that part ‘built in times of trouble’. Then 7 weeks later, at the end of 69 weeks, we all witnessed that great sign in Virgo from Rev 12 that depicted a human birth of the messiah, the child. That was on 9/23/2017. Another piece of this puzzle is confirmed later in Dan 11 where the last colonial power invades the Holy Land and pitches its tents in Jerusalem between the seas. That occurred in 2018 when Trump, the little horn and man ‘o sin, moved the embassy there in 2018. Very next verse says ‘at that time, Michael stands up. That also confirms the second timeline.
Jesus did fulfill and was the one cut off who was confirming a new covenant and during that last week, he disrupted the sacrifices. His death effectively ended sacrifices with even rabbinic sources saying the Yom Kipper sacrifice stopped being confirmed by that sign of a cloth turning red. He did come at precisely the right time and was cutoff halfway through that last week if he died in 30CE as most scholars believe.
This pattern is a chiastic prophecy like ABCBA. It’s seen in many places all over the scriptures. With this second count, the timeline to both advents is revealed. Because there was always a second, the ‘time, times, and half a time’ along with 1260, 1290, 42 months, and even the 3 1/2 days the two witnesses bodies are displayed publicly all represent that missing time after the crucifixion. Even 1260 and 1290 is not a contradiction adding the extra 30 days to align the lunar calendar with the solar. The average of the two is 1275 which is exactly 3 1/2 solar years. So no reason to think they are literal. It’s saying the AoD would be here since the crucifixion. This can be seen in the 3 1/2 days the bodies are disgraced and one can be seen in every Catholic Church since. The AoD is the lie that god is so brutal he demanded blood to absolve his anger. False image and an idol that has ruined god’s reputation since.
Dan 12 says it won’t be completed until the power of the people is finally broken. Here we are now, in the very last year of that second count. We’re on the cusp of the power of the people finally being broken. Michael has been here since 2018 and all hell has broken loose ever since then with weather events, Covid, wars, and famine. We’re already in that tribulation period and god returns to judge the nations beginning with Israel and stripping her naked for all the world to see.

If Jesus himself. He is the one who. Prophesied the destruction of the temple. Twice. Do you think he is happy about this. Prophecy?
It seems from the texts that Jesus is angry about the owners of the temple, so much so that he mourned the city of Jerusalem.

The word there for moved quite literally means to totter or slip out of place. That clearly leaves all other options open as to the earth being destroyed by God in a willful act of judgement and wrath. That verse in Psalm 93 is simply saying it will never accidentally slip from where God has placed it.

Christ would not tell Jacob His name in Genesis 32:29. In Judges 13:17-18 He told Manoah His name was a secret. At the very end of the Book at Armageddon He still has this unknown name (Revelation 19:12). It is His new name; the name of God that He will write on us (Revelation 3:12) when He returns. Which means this name is not in the Bible.
If Christ returned 1,954 years ago in 70 AD, then by now preterists should be able to tell us what this name is...but they can't. And if He returned in 70 AD, by now, preterists should be calling Him by this name...but they don't.
When a bride takes her husband's name it's not a forgettable moment. Jesus said we must forgive our brother until 70×7. After 70 weeks we get sinless bodies & we won't be sinning nor will our brother which means forgiveness between us won't be needed then. 70×7 obviously hasn't passed yet.
In Zephaniah 3:8-9 it says we will serve the Lord with 1 consent & 1 pure language when He returns. We've had multiple consents (denominations) & multiple languages (doctrines) since the 1st century.
In 1 Corinthians 11:26 it says communion is to be done until the Lord comes. If He came back in 70 AD why do preterists still take communion?
At Christ's return, the 7th trumpet blast happens & "time is no longer". Yet for centuries now, preterists (and every one else just about) have & continue to use calendars & clocks.

Not just Jews, as told by some prophecy teachers that 'Matthew is addressing a Jewish audience , and so its written for the Jews during the tribulation, and can't be about us gentiles being in the tribulation, as the church has been raptured '.
Make it make sense from a pre tribulation church rapture view. 🤔
And if you say ' these are people who believed after the rapture, then who told them the gospel? how can they believe without a messenger? Pretrib has to stretch every text beyond its intended meaning.
P.s. there is only one sign Jesus points to: the clouds and Jesus coming on/with them.
