I really hope krash sells enough skis to get big and not go out of business. I don't really like the short backflip skis, but what they are doing putting modern newish designed 2 strokes in small stand ups and blaster like skis...... Go krash!
@@toyfactory5206 Yeah it seems like they are filling a void in the market and they are doing everything right. But I think it is just difficult in general to make it big as a smaller powersports company. It seems like what they got is too good to fail.
@@Jacobskibros Watercraft vehicle are niche market. Its a TINY market compared to cars or motorcycles. Then out of that niche market, standup skis are even a smaller market. They dont have to be the biggest company to be very successful. Time will only tell.
I am 5'5 200 lbs, you will be fine. You might be frustrated in the beginning but once you understand what the ski does to side mount it becomes VERY easy.
Krash use to only sell the hull. Which means you had the options of installing a yamaha or kawasaki engine. This unit is there Ready to perform reaper. It comes with their own kv997 powervalve engine that they designed.
The only blaster I can compare it to is my 1100cc blaster. I have never ridden a stock blaster. I have also only ridden my 1100 baster about 3-4 times. But my blaster is really fast. To be hones though, the reaper feels stronger down low and up top. Its limited to top speed because its so small and you start bouncing down the lake. If you are into freestyle skis and like fix steer setups, I cant imagine riding anything else other then a reaper.
Not sure if you've ever ridden a kawi x2. But that's all I've ridden besides a hand full of stand ups. Been looking into getting one of these for awhile. U think getting on it would be any harder than an x2?
Dont agree with you at all. You sound arrogant and cocky. I dont know anyone that would accidentally grab the throttle instead of the kill switch. And then complain about what the ski doesn't have.
I was about to rev it up some more for the video but decided it against last second as the last time it set off the fire alarm (from the smoke) and the fire department showed up. I'm pretty sure everybody who bought a Reaper would have loved for it to come with hood shocks, but like the video says, its not a big deal at all. Appreciate the feedback.
Best skis on the planet. Can't complain. Customer service is the best.!
Damn that motor is friggin setup nice!

We doubt they are going anywhere.

Great video!
Thank you, will upload some ride videos for next year and hopefully some backflips!
Where would you get the motor serviced?
where can i buy one of these?
I have the same 2018 red krash reaper, but I was curious if yours came with a manual?
How do you think it would be with a 5’11 260lb rider?

How does the power compare to the blaster? Do you have any mods on your blaster?

@@matthewwright8741 Never been on an x2. Side mounting the reaper is very easy.
Is it really that hard to ride a blaster?
Not at all. But it can be hard to learn to side mount. But once you do learn it and get good at it. Its "easy"
if you have ever ridden a dirt bike its essentially the same. Except getting on it after you tank yourself is the hard part
X-2 the best !!!!
