I too have the lintons played through Teac A-H500 amp, the amp has been modified/upgraded slightly. I find there is plenty of power on tap even with the rated 50 Watts. I am experiencing slightly bloated bass at times, is this similar with your setup?
Not very detailed Speakers. I would say they are good for rock music only. I would suggest to match them with a 100 watt amplifier at least. 150 watts would be great.
these Linton are on my wishlist--saving up for them
You won't be disappointed. I have had my new Lintons for four months now, and they are SO smooth and clear.
I have a pair.. saved and saved for them. They are AWESOME!!! 😊
Did you buy them?
Beautiful Wharfedale,......
Thanks a lot!
Sounds lush 👌
I would say that it sounds muffled 😀
@@technicsfancan't handle the 8"
@@Eron55555exactly. These speakers needs to be driven by a 150 watts amplifier, at least.
Темное звучание ) . Хотя чего ожидать от кевлара ) . Если они на видео играли от усилителя yamaha что стоит на полке тогда вообще странно )
Yes, these speakers suck…
Way too much reverb. Try to damp the room independent of the loudspeaker used 😉
I will, thanks.
Is that yamaha as-1200 on the left side? How sounds this combination Yamaha 1200 and Linton? Its a good sinergy? Good match?
That’s the yamaha as-1100. It sounds good but I would match a different type of speakers with it. Linton speakers are good but not that good to me.
@@technicsfan what do you mean not that good to me? what do you recommend then? Are you not satisfied?
@@Phoenix_1991 yes I am very satisfied with those speakers but they are not as goood as my other Sonus faber speakers.
I would recommend linton speakers for rock and electronic music, not for jazz and blues.

HI ..since its passed over year, that you own linton.~can you tell me your impressions?

@@technicsfanwhy do so many disagree?
@@Eron55555disagree on what?
@@technicsfan On what they are good for and how detailed they are.
That’ s the power of marketing. I would never buy these speakers again. They are nice pieces of furniture, though .
