Love the 509 boots!
Love the insight from one of my favorite riders!
big thanks! appreciate the comment!
Appreciate the wisdom Rosco!
Beautiful shop! I'm still using an old pair of Klim bibs that I can't seem to wear out. Never been wet. But I'll get new gear soon and definitely check out 509.
Keep it up, Rosco! #rowdyonez Met you at the 509 film event a few years ago. 509 had been my go to in the backcountry since their second year of outerwear!
Thanks my guy! Appreciate it ⚡️⚡️
How do you feel the pants fit? True to their size online? Seems like Medium might be just a little short for me but large be big on waist area per their online sizing. (Normally wear a 32x34 jean)
Another thimg to consider with the breath box is that it traps CO2, reducing the amoumt of oxygen that you breath in which leads to poor decision making and sloppy reactions. FortNine did a great video on this qnd it's worth checking out if you haven't seen it already
You are very right on this. 🤘
Good video man! Is it 100% merino?
Do you recommend a down mid later or synthetic?
it's a blend for a little extra stretch and comfort.
for mid layer down is the warmest and lightest. however if it gets wet its doesnt do its job where wool and synthetic will still keep warm when whet
Ok cool thanks man, do you recommend a wool mid then?
I used to stack a merino wool blend as bottom then klim 1.0+2.0 etc (depending on day and temp) up the trail and then peel layers off as needed when in the alpine/I got hot. A friend of mine advised I need to strip layers before I get hot to avoid sweating and getting cold/wet. But I thought that was the purpose of good base layers, and now after more research it seems just a base and then a mid is best?
Are you able to provide some clarity there for me on ideal set upwith a merino base and then mid on top perhaps a wool sweater type? Or stacking base layers ?
Thanks man!!
So buy Klim… lol. Thanks for the vid
do whatever your heart desires bruv 😎
I’m just kidding. Appreciate your honest reviews and vids. All of these gear companies have come so far… friendly competition just keeps making stuff better and better!
I bought the wrong helmet. The assault 2.0 is way too hot for mountain riding.
Yeah gonna be alittle hot!
Poop 😂
