Deep6 are missing a trick by not having a distributor in Europe for sure. There's alot of European divers paying extortionate amounts to get Deep6 Eddys or begging our friends to mule them back for us. It's a similar situation for DiveRite XTs. We just want something light and stiff, I've just got a pair of XTs myself and really enjoying them! Not many manufacturers over here have something comparable, I'm sure someone is going to reply to me and say the XT is just an expensive Avanti Quattro but they're nothing alike besides the length. Also took me a second to realise it was Woody and Gus, I found your channel not long ago and wanted to say awesome work. Hope to be half the diver you guys are one day.
@@tedlin4962 if you put the two side by side and cover the logo part on top of the foot pocket, they are impossible to tell apart. The plagiarism is outrageous on this one.
Yay! I got them recently. This is super validating 😅 After lots of research I chose to buy these because I’m a full time traveler so travel weight is super important to me. I’ll be testing them in a couple of weeks 😬
I've got Hollis bat fins, rk3 and seawing supernova gorilla for travel. I can't get a good fit on my rk3 so they don't get much water time. My Hollis are absolutely the go to for power but they are a bit heavy for warm water diving or travel. Seawing is good for travel. Those tecline look like something I should try for weight and power. Thanks for the video
My wife, daughter and I have the Scubapro Nova, I like them as now at the age of 70 ( my god I have now been dive for 50 years) they are easy on the legs. However my daughter Gigi (Gyanne) got a drysuit and they are not heavy enough to get her legs down, we had to use ankle weights. She has just got the new Scubapro S-TEK FIN they may just be the best design I have seen, particularly for frog kick hydrodynamic and the changeable weight system make them flexible for drysuits and wet suite. See if you can get a pair to check out.
Interesting, I didnt knew these fins before. How does the 30 degree angle affect the backkick? Seem like you have to point your toes down a lot to not to catch water.
I’m diving RK3 HD. How do these compare to the HD ? Something lighter would be great for travel, we’re doing a liveaboard and have paid for extra weight to make sure we can get all the necessities in with the RK3’s included 🤣
So what fin are u recommending if one wants to flutter and not frog kick? Getting into diving recently and we're about to pick up a pair of rk3 HD. But curious what you recommend instead?
Sorry pal. Did see this but lost it for a while. Honestly, do yourself a favour and learn to frog kick. Ignoring all the genuine benefits to the life around you and your buddies viewing pleasure of you not kicking the bottom up, frog kicking offers real benefits in terms of B&T as well as air consumption. So better for you, better for your buddy and better for the environment in that you won’t be kicking the crap out of everything if you get close. Deffo worth the investment in time and effort to get the frog kick mastered 👍
Exact replica of the Deep6 Eddyfins

Came here to say the same think. Looks like a blatant copy of the Eddy’s.

Got to say, never heard of Deep6 this side of the pond. Chances are they’re made in the same factory!

Yes mate RK3 HD for the win.

How you like it? I just got mine yesterday 😊
Look great... nice colour 😊

@muellermay I honestly didn’t notice any difficulties, but didn’t test this any more specifically that anything else. Hope this helps 👍
Cut out the Infill bit on the rk3 and boom finger hole for getting them on and off
I bought these today and this was literally my first though on trying them on
I have the white variant , they are amazing
Sadly, I think they only do the black and the white now. Shame as I like the blue!

I use mares avanti quattro. I found the RK3's didn't have enough power for me.
RK3 only downside is I can’t get them big enough to fit my foot with size 15 boots
Gaddayum monster foot size innit
@@davidsanderson7948 most of my dive buddies same way

Are you still diving these fins? Interested if you're still pleased with them after spending a year diving them
Yeah, love em. Sold all my RK3’s. They are my primary fin now. Coming for a week to Gozo with me from Tuesday 😍
@@UKDiver That's good to hear - I'm going to pick some up for travel use, hopefully I get on with them. Enjoy Gozo 🥳
I hope you love them as much as I do! I intend to have a fab time! Keep an eye out for the video 👍😎

I use Xdeep EX1.
I wear a size 41. Should I get a M or L? As they both can fit a size 41.
Are the foot pockets on Techlight bigger than the RK3’s when comparing the same size? Thx
Does anyone have a link for an online dealer. Can’t buy these in the US.
Where on earth can you buy them from? I'm in the UK and they seem very elusive.
Try this: aquaactive.co.uk/find-a-retailer/
That’s a VERY grey room.
😂😂🤦
RK-4...
Not hearing good things about them so far… you?
Deep6 Eddy’s kill RK3
Stop flutting flutter kicking
Flutting?
