For much le$$ I have replaced my front bumper with a ~150 lb "Cow Catcher" on my Dodge Turbo Diesel pick up and yes, I'll keep the Mazda in mind for the future.
We really need to add under ride crash testing and additional roof testing. It still seems the Europeans engineer more for safety, everyone else goes after passing the tests and that shows up in other sorts of crashes and real world data. Volvo, BMW, MB, Mazda (for Japan) still top my list of generally very safe vehicles that go beyond test results. For example Toyota generally does awful in under ride testing.
I’m buying a new car this year. Your videos are always very helpful as a guidance for vehicle safety.
Thank for your efforts to produce this very nice info-clip - take care and stay safe!
TIme to Buy a Mazda

Can you make another list of the least safe options?
I wish Rivian came to Australia

Maybe if cars were not made so safe, people would drive more carefully?
in a perfect world..
People dont drive reckless because of car safety, they drive reckless because of being late, for thrills, stupidity, pride, lack of experience
Why is Tesla not mentioned???? Most safe cares ever made. Bias
The model Y was at the end of the video
Sooooo… buy a Volvo or Tesla. These two manufacturers don’t build cars to last these specific tests. They build for real world situations
Until your Tesla breaks down spontaneously… Teslas are not the way to go and safety does not excuse that
@Vanguard.I That is extremely rare for Tesla. Teslas are some of the most dependable cars on the market with extremely low costs of ownership.
@@alexd2316 teslas suck go for a volvo
@@santinosalamanca4378 volvo isnt that good anymore, look at the tests
@@alexd2316 And yet the Cybertruck hasn't been tested by IIHS or NHTSA.....
