The 4.9 is a very respectable engine in these later front drive Cadillacs. They develop 200 horsepower, and with regular maintenance are reliable. They probably get fuel mileage close to what todays compact/midsized SUV/Crossovers get. Amazing how much more open and airy even a triple black Cadillac can feel with the thin pillars and low belt line than todays vehicles. Nice Cadillac, would be a cool daily driver
@@haytamsanchezhd3430 the 4.5 is a relatively reliable engine. It’s a 4.1 with a larger cylinder bore, by the time it was introduced, Cadillac had addressed the reliability issues that were present in the 4.1. It’s horsepower ratings were from 157 to 200 depending on year and vehicle, which can be a little low for the larger cars. Keep up with the maintenance, frequent oil and coolant changes, use the supplement tablets specified by GM for the cooling system, don’t try to win any drag races with it and everything should be fine.
@@cadillacguy1890 I have the 1990 4.5 with 180hp so I don’t need to worry?😅 it had 155000 Miles on it should i change the water pump also, I recently changed the gearbox oil.
So it is up for auction right now on Bring a Trailer. I shared the link on here but here it is for you. bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-cadillac-deville-7/ Bid is less than 6,000. I bring them to sell so bid all you can and I will try my best to let it roll!
Great car indeed! Dude why would you not wait a few, to step on it. To show us the performance in a/c full mode until there's not a vehicle directly in front of you? 🤔
It's 100 degrees outside, this is not a race car and I was already doing almost double the posted speed limit. The driving video is designed for you to see it shifts good, doesn't run hot, skip or hesitate. And I have a slew of other videos I need to do. Sorry it disappointed.
@@christianbugatticg Well said, it's not a drag car lol ... but u don't have to answer everyone Bill, those of us here for the right reasons would understand if you didnt. Keep em coming buddy✌🏽
Front pillars wrinkled. I miss nothing. 😂😂. I know these and the engine was the best 4.9 of the day and better than the Northstar oil burner and gasket issues for years. I’ve ridden in these 92s and they are nice. Only complaint. Needs RWD. But if you like Cadillacs this would be the one and not newer.
Can't go wrong with a 4.9 Caddy.Had a 1991 DeVille and loved it
Thanks!
Love my 92 sedan deville, when your driving it, its like your riding on clouds.
Absolutely! And nice ones are hard to find now too.
Total beauty. I'd bet it be a great daily driver, hope you get plenty!
I appreciate it

That sounds about right
I have the 4.5 engine in my Fleetwood sixty special, is it a good engine?

Caddy is up for auction right now on BAT!! Good luck bidding!! bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-cadillac-deville-7/
Hello I have one just like yours and my hazard button is stuck how do I turn it off?
Well if it won't turn it off by turning it off, could be a short in the switch itself. Good luck!
@@christianbugatticg thanks turns out there was some gunk on the switch I cleaned it and it got unstuck 🙏
Nice! @@يلد-ش2ذ
Is it sold ?
Yes, sorry you missed it. It went to Texas

Yeah the heat will do that to the pillars. Good eye!
@@christianbugatticg lol. I’m just being honest. I keep mine in a conditioned garage and then that kind of stuff doesn’t happen.
You look small in the car are you short
Lol, I mean I am 5'11 ish
Nice car, but I'd lose that silly top.
That is part of the Spring Edition Package. Very NJ in the 90's! lol
