Spotify Album Art Design Tutorial Part 1 - Affinity Photo Tutorial

Spotify has created not only a fantastic music streaming service but they have also carved out for themselves a pretty distinct style of design in their album and playlist covers.
Popularized by their "Duotone Effect"(which we will be doing in a later video) Spotify has done a great job at standing out and creating a consistent style across the board.
Whether you are using a different program than Affinity Photo (perhaps something like photoshop) it doesn't matter because the methods are the same to create Spotify album art.

Ok so when you listen to a song on RUclips there is usually a image on the screen with the album photo and the song, artist, and album listed next to it and a blown up blurred version of the album cover in the background... How do you make one of those
