- Meet a small CNC engraver. It is a CNC that can engrave a surface of 340x160x40mm. It arrives completely disassembled. In a couple of hours you can assemble. I found that the assembly manual is approximate and with often wrong measurements. Moreover, I often had to reassemble some pieces to insert the nuts for the assembly of the following pieces. The printing seems precise but needs a lot of adjustment! Soon I'll show you a modification I'll make to the engine! Subscribe to the channel to stay updated!

I recommend to assembly the vertical (motor part) and horizontal (base part) assemblies separately and then finally assembly both parts; it is much easier and faster to work than assembly the complete chassis first. Good video anyways, very detailed.

Ciao Daniele. Purtroppo la base fa fatica a scorrere anche nella mia CNC. Ho regolato al meglio ed ora scorre meglio ma rimane un po' di attrito. Il problema sta nella vite senza fine e il blocco dove scorre. Sulla versione Pro questo problema non l'ho riscontrato infatti ora uso solo quella..

Very VERY helpful video. I have one problem with my kit i think. The 3D printed/plastic braces that connect the vertical piece to the horizontal base won’t allow the M5 screws to fit. Can you show me which of the hardware was used to mount this?
Hi. I used screws included in the box but I don't remember what size. Now I can't check. Are your screws too short?
Cosmo Channel I believe the heads are too big and just tough to screw in. I could probably just muscle it.

Hello. The software works with any size .. But this machine cannot be modified if not rebuilding it from scratch .. Or at most you can keep the z axis but with higher dimensions I would change everything ..

Hi Brad. What pieces are you talking about? In the kit there are specific nuts for all the pieces.
The screws at 4:45 for the 2 plastic connecting pieces. @@cosmochannelvideo

Hello! with a good tip you can engrave the steel. but surely you cannot cut or shape steel plates.
Have you tried some harder material like aluminum? I wish to know if its possible to cut through 1mm aluminium in multiple passes
From the first tests carried out I am almost certain that with more passes and a right cutter you can also cut aluminum or copper thicker than 1 mm.

It might. But did you check all the connections? Try the spindle with an external power supply.

Hi. I use easel to run the cnc. It's online. You can also use GRBL software but I've always had problems. I use Artcam and Fusion 360 to draw.

I use a desktop computer. As a software I use grblControl_0.8.1 to control the cnc and as a drawing software for now I'm using Free Blender CAM
