How to Visit & Stay at Sadhguru's Isha Yoga Center | Full Details | Exploring Isha Foundation

Here are the notes from my brief exploration of Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore
Note: The ashram requires registration at least two weeks prior to your visit, but it is best to notify the registration team at least four weeks in advance of your travel to complete the necessary formalities. There is no other stay option in 15-20 km Radius so make sure you have confirmed booking in Isha if you're planning to stay there. If you're going there for 1 Day then you don't need of booking. Without Stay you can't eat foods there & can't explore Spanda Hall, Stay Area but you can explore Dhyanling, Theerthkundas, Linga Bhairavi, Adiyogi 112 Feet Statue.

Getting There
Isha Yoga Centre: g.page/isha-yo...
Once you reached Coimbatore Airport Isha is 45Km from there. From Airport take Bus or taxi to Gandhipuram Bus Stand.
From the Coimbatore railway station, it is 31Km. You can go to Gandhipuram Bus Stand to take the bus from Bus stand or you can take the bus from the Railway station. But I will suggest going to Gandhipuram Bus Stand to take Bus.

From Gandhipuram take the bus to Isha. Bus No. 14C, 14D, 14G.

The exact timings may vary by ten to fifteen minutes, but even if you miss one bus, the next bus will generally be ready to depart within the next hour.
You can also take a taxi directly to the Isha but they will take around 500Rs. From Bus the cost will be around 50-100Rs.
If you would like to book a taxi to the Isha Yoga Center, please contact Travel Desk service at: 09442615436, 0422-2515-429/430. The desk is open 24 hours a day.
It is hard to get there without Bus, Taxi, or Private Vehicle.
After taking the bus it will take around one hour to reach Isha until then you can listen to this - • Shambho One Hour Versi...
After Reaching to Isha Yoga Centre.
( If you're stay is not confirmed then explore Dhyanling, Theerthkundas, Linga Bhairavi, Adiyogi 112 Feet Statue and request them for stay may they will agree. If Stay is Confirmed then do the following )

Tell them you're stay is confirmed and show them details then they will allow you to go in.
Go into your Room. Get Fresh. Change Clothes and wear Comfortable clothes, wear Slipper. Keep Mobile in Room ( They don't allow mobile in Dhyanlinga although you can keep mobile in the Mobile stand which is near Isha Shoppe ).

Spend some time there. Because you can't go to Dhyanlings before going to Linga Bhairavi.

Spend As much time as possible doing meditation near Dhyanlinga. Trust me the Energy you're going to get there is unexplainable in words. You will go into the state of mind which I can't put in the words. If you're in the Isha for 24 hours then spend at least 4-8 hours doing meditation near Dhyanlinga.
3. Go to Biksha Hall to eat foods ( It's free if your stay is confirmed )- goo.gl/maps/jA...

Morning - 9.55 am & 10.40 am
Evening - 6.55 pm & 7.40 pm

You can take bath there if you want.

Explore and Buy if you want to buy anything. There are really awesome products in Isha Shoppe although you will get all the products on ishalife.com/in/

All events & Meditation Initiation conducted in Spanda hall. Maybe you will not allow inside the hall if you're a visitor.
Going Back
Take the bus from From Isha to Gandhipuram -
05:30 AM , 07:10 AM , 08:50 AM , 10:30 AM , 12:10 AM , 02:00 PM , 03:50 PM , 05:30 PM , 07:00 PM , 08:50 PM
The bus also stops near the Railway station.
For the next couple of weeks, your clarity will be at its peak. The Energy you're going to experience it can't be explained in words.

Yes. Stay & Food is available for free but you need to do Volunteering or need to join course there like Sadhnapada. For more information you can contact on Phone mentioned in above comment.

Hey, I'm not guruji. I'm also a spiritual seeker like you. I've also ordered Rudraksha and I've received message from Isha saying that all the Rudraksha will deliver within 10-12 weeks as more than 2 million people ordered it. So don't worry you will receive it soon.

Me too made similar video recently. Also want to confirm that the other buses you mentioned except 14D are currently not seen. The buses till poondi are available, but 14G, 14A and all are not available or maybe rare. Only 14D is available every 29 to 30 minutes.

I want to stay at the ashram for full day but not night with 4 members of my family.... Will that be allowed? If so , than what will be the minimum charge of staying there for 4 people?
Yes. You can stay for full day. For 4 people you might need to take 2 room which is ₹850 per room so total ₹1700 including launch and dinner.

I understand from your video that, because of Covid, the accommodation is not available. Can you please let us know where can we stay for a day or two ?
As per my knowledge they are only allowing to visit Ashram for visitors for 1 hour so I think if stay is not confirmed then you will get very less time there. Also, They said that Stay will open in Jan 21. For staying outside of Isha you can search online for accommodation or you will get accommodation easily in Coimbatore which is 60-90 min travel from Isha.

@Miss Anjali barnwal It's 100% safe to travel & stay alone at Isha. Still, I would suggest you to travel in the daytime to ensure more safety. Once you're in Ashram you don't need to worry about safety.

Q2. Can't we take people above age 65 like our grandparents there ?
1. You need to do lots of things to sustain clarity for longer. Things like Doing practices from courses, Eating satvic foods, etc. It's time consuming process.
2. Yeah. I think you can take people above age 65 there. Still confirm before going by calling on the number mentioned in the pinned comment.

Book Coimbatore Junction. Isha is 30-35km from Coimbatore Junction. You will get a bus from there.

Learn basic english. Atleast you should able to communicate in english. Hindi bhi chal jayega but thoda difficult hoga vaha communicate karne keliye kyuki vaha pr jyadatar log tamil hai.

It's mentioned in PDF from description. The Room charges starts from ₹850 / Per Room for Non AC. 2 people can stay in one room. Lunch & Dinner in included in it.
