Our family loves the Cradle Moon. Watching the sunset from that "beach" area is one of our favourite things to do there after the hiking trail activity.
When you go again, I suggest you try the hiking trails experience, start with the shortest route. It is soooo peaceful. At the conservation desk, where you buy tags for the trails, they also sell walking sticks to make the hiking easy.
