I had the same experience on that exact same block in a forge ruin, discovering the floor was chiseled and not actually wood lol
I consider it the pluses and minuses of getting new (vanilla) ruins.
@@Sarafimm2 Haha yeah, it's not a bad trade-off unless you really want aged wood for building. I'd say those big aged wood tree ruins make up for it.
It's been disappointing for a brief moment because I want to have some aged wood for a building project haha
