My favorite out of context moments are always from Ren, Scar, Martyn, and Cleo. Because Martyn and Cleo are always making on the edge jokes, Scar says inappropriate jokes without realizing it, and Ren legitimately just says whatever comes to his mind without thinking about it

re: the way you edited Scar to seem intimidating and scary - believe me, the fandom took note of that! One of the standout parts of that whole season was the stark difference in presentation between Scar and Grian's POVs, and yours and Ren's (and several others, tbh). I've had many conversations with my friends about how much depth the contrast in editing styles brings to the season as a whole! I honestly think it was a major factor in how incredible that first season became.

I feel like 3rd Life is like, a perfect gem. The first series, no one really knew how it'd play out, and then the story just came along with all the funny moments. Truly a timeless series. If only I could go back in time and watch it for the first time again!
Agreed. The new series may have the boogeyman and stuff like that but 3rd life is what started it all and it has its own highly memorable moments

It's interesting you mention scar coming across intimidating, last life was my first ever MCYT series, I literally just started watching it because of mumbo. I had no idea who scar was, how goofy and light hearted he is, and he came across as this incredibly slick, persuasive business exec type person. It's funny what the life series brings out in people!
Yes! When I started watching the life series I didn’t know ANY hermits apart from Grian, and I saw Scar as an incredibly manipulative and slippery individual. Now he’s just a silly guy

It’s funny because I started out with Scott and not knowing who anyone was, at first I also saw Scar as a bit ‘intimidating’ but then watching more of Scott’s pov and Scar’s now I saw he was just a silly guy. But I always saw you/Ren as the more ‘evil’ and ‘intimidating’ side until I watched your guys povs and saw how you guys just wanted to start a business lmao
