In this week's episode Sierra Boggess takes us into the exclusive Club Christine. In part one of two, Sierra gabs with nine of the "Phantom'"s past and present Christines. Come back for part two next week!
Watching this video again cause I just learned that Rebecca Luker has passed away 💔 she was a beautiful and wonderful Christine and will be dearly missed.

It’s so incredibly sad and there’s nothing ok about dying young. But I can’t help but think, if it had to happen, we can take comfort in knowing that during her time on earth, she lived a life that most girls dream of, starring in so many of the best roles on Broadway for 30 years.
Sierra said "your Phantom" and all of their eyes started to shine! how awesome!!

To the people saying that no one mentioned Ramin Karimloo's Phantom you guys have to remember that he never played the Phantom on Broadway. They're talking about Phantoms on Broadway. Ramin played the Phantom on the West End

This was after. Hugh Panaro was the 25th anniversary Phantom. Norm Lewis I believe, is the current Phantom during the time of this video.

I just cringe whenever anyone bangs on about RK. Popular because he’s handsome. Plenty of other Phantoms that excel in voice and performance.
@Maria same i watched POTO 25th likr 10 times before googling who the cast was and how they looked like. My fat ass thought Christines hair was the real actress hair and the actor who played Phantom actually had the hair grey 😂😂then i realised its all make up😂
RIP dear Rebecca. My very first Christine at the Majestic Theater in NY 1990. I'm so heartbroken. Always a special place in my heart. I'll never forget you.

That would be awesome! I'm always curious how a cast is when a member is leaving. Especially for Sierra. I know she's probably tired of Christine but she's so good at it. So sad she's leaving. But I understand her wanting to move on.

i've seen a few Final Performance speeches posted on youtube. the 2 that come to mind are Michael Crawford's last on Broadway and Hugh Panaro's 2006 last that his webmaster recorded

Answer for Little Lotte question!!
Little Lotte was an old parlor game a bit like the Green Glass Door game. The lyrics to the Phantom reference are: "Little Lotte thought, am I fonder of dolls, or of goblins or shoes?" Raoul and Christine both know the answer (dolls has a double consonant) so they go on to the next set: "Or of riddles, or frocks, or of chocolates?" The answer to that would have been riddles.

Sierra was my second Christine when I saw Phantom in Vegas back in January of 2007. Also Gary Mauer was my first Phantom! His wife Elizabeth was the alternate.

We are so blessed to have ALL YOU LADIES carry the legacy on!!! i was 6th grade in 88 and soloist as Phantom in choir in Hawaii (YAY Rebecca!!) and the bug bit. haha. I met Mary Michael Patterson when she was in Les Miserables in Texas, she was pretty nice & really warm haha! She gave me a hug and signed my two playbills. Her aunt & uncle were there too and they were extremely nice!
OMG! I remember Kimilee Bryant!! She was part of my favorite production in Toronto! We were in the front right row and I got to see he Paul Stanley up close

Little Lottie is a story Christine's father told to her and Raoul before he died. Leroux mentions it in his novel.
The group of women I would die to be with! Sam, Sierra, Mary, Elizabeth, and Jennifer are some of my favorite Christines!
Little Lotte is a character in the norwegien poem "The First Sorrow of the Child" (the Dark stories of the North), Gaston Leroux used parts of the original poem, but made up the angel of music part himself.
Also I don't think she lives in an attic. I think Christine's father took her and Raoul to the attic to tell the stories, but I'm not sure.

I'm surprised that Katharine was the only one who said her favorite was the wedding dress. That's my favorite costume! Seriously, I don't care that the phantom was a psycho killer, if he went through all the trouble of making me a wedding dress, I would marry him IMMEDIATELY! That's how much I love the wedding dress.

i think little lottie is a game kinda like green glass doors or four is cosmic, where the goal of the game is for other people to guess the rules of the game. so you say three things that "little lottie" likes to play with or whatever and the other people have to guess which one she likes the most. the answer is the one with a double consonant (so in the phantom example, out of dolls, goblins, and shoes, the answer would be dolls because it has a double l)

Ms. Buffaloe was my first Broadway Christine and Sierra was my first Vegas Christine. I can't remember the other 7 I have seen. I still dream that I one day could take the stage at the Majestic as the Phantom. Maybe one day soon before I turn too old.

I want to be Christine someday, but my range isn't that incredible, I don't have the best voice, and I can't dance well. I'm a freshman in high school and I know I have time, but I need advice on how to get there. Where do I start?
Sarah Flynn Get yourself into singing and dancing class!
To be cast in musical theater you need first and foremost to be a good enough dancer. So enroll yourself in the best dance class you can, classic technique and tap basically. That way you will be able to become part of any ensemble in any decent musical. And the other comment is right: enroll yourself in the best singing class you can, and start singing all the Broadway songs you can. I would also add that you need some acting lessons. You're still in time, and you can even study theater in university, but you need to start RIGHT AWAY and work very hard, because most musical theater actors that end up being successful start auditioning when they're in their late teens or in their early 20's, and they've already been in dancing, singing and acting classes for years.
