No this doesnt work as good as the previous god of war. When i removed depth of field with god of war original game i ccould clearly see it removed all depth of field, here it seems blury so is that due to some other effects ?
I've installed the files following these steps, but i still see the effects of TAA, especially in cinematics. Are there specific settings I need to set in game?
@@shadmankhan660 DLSS never use TAA. It has its own AA technique. I personally think everything is working on your end. You might be mistaking some other effect to TAA.
hmmm...it should be. No one else complained. Check the .ini file to see if you have added by mistake FLASE to the DOF line over there. Also just to inform, DOF only appears in cutscenes. In game there is no DOF.
How can it work without .ini file? That is impossible. Maybe you missed it. it is called GoWR.NoTAA.ini There is also a chance that your entire game folder is set to read only in properties.
Thank you for saving my eyes :D
Glad to be of help buddy 👍🙂
Thank you so much! It works.
Glad to help out buddy 🙂👍
i hate these forced blur effects that you have no option to remove in game
Seriously...the devs know 90% of people hate effects like these but they not only add them to the game but force it as well.😖
@@DanteKOGTekken
Same in the first game. I remember having this forced DOF but when I pick items suddenly it's clears off.
U can turn it off

How ? There is no DOF setting
Running GoWR on patch 5 and no longer creates the ini file, my folder is not set to read only, any fixes?
No sorry
Why not put it on nexus mods? Noone has removed the vignette yet.
yo, would you mind making video of Alisa custom main menu with her 3rd costume?. i heard bamco already officially implemented that in new update.
Not officially implemented yet. Comes with Heihachi patch after like 8 days

The effect at the distance is not DOF. That is fog. DOF only activates in cutscenes in this game.

No there are no specific settings. What upscaler you use?
@@DanteKOGTekken I use TAA on native. I used to use DLSS on native and Quality settings but they all still make the jarring TAA effects

@@DanteKOGTekken maybe. I just find it jarring when the cinematic camera moves and the rock behind somebody looks super low quality
done what it said but it never replaced any files and dof still not removed ? why

The game is blury compared to last god of war mod that removed depth of field though.
@@garethsmith6611 Use reshade or any other sharpening method to your liking.
doesn't work for me, the ini file doesn't generate.
Make sure your game folder is not set to READ ONLY.
@@DanteKOGTekken i will check that out when i'll boot my system today.
It works but it doesn't create any ini file for me

@@DanteKOGTekken yeah the folder is read-only. I don't know why it is like that by default. Thank you
