Christians are in this world but we are not of this world and occasionally we will slip up and sin. Including giving God an inappropriate last name. I am guilty of that myself, but, whenever I slip up, I do ask God for forgiveness for that indiscretion and I do fully believe that because he died once for me, that sin of using his name in vain has already been forgiven. It's like what Paul says about whenever we send, Grace abounds and should we go on sinning so that Grace would abound even more? Certainly not, he says with an exclamation point. What he means is, building on the fact like I said that we are in this world but not of this world, we are still going to stumble, we are still going to fall, we are still going to sin. We should not actively be searching for ways to sin in order to get more grace from God. We should be actively seeking his will for our lives so that we don't sin even subconsciously. Pastor hagee, I have been listening to you for a long time and I agree with a lot of what you say. Unfortunately in this instance, I have to stop halfway through your sermon because I'm getting a check in my spirit that this is more of a condemnation sermon instead of a sermon of conviction to try to get people to stop committing a specific sin.
