Too many single engine prop planes. Wish there was more variety with airliners, military jets, helicopters, and oldies. The previous entries had better variety at launch. Still excited though.

deluxe has up to 40 planes and its possible more will come out in updates
Third party developers will be making Helicopters and military/old stuff. One company is making a Concorde for it and fighter jets. Won't be free though.

Im 100% with you on that, i would wish they added a 737 and a md-11 or an a350 or something because thats what most people want, i hope they will have these planes as DLCs or something.
One of the best presentations i have ever seen. The soft camera movements, the angles, the text and the music: magnificent! I wanted to see the planes from this game, because i was too lazy to write all the names of the official aircraft and airport-list and googling them out. But i have found this video and that is what i was looking for. Thanks!

Wished they had some more airliners, specifically CRJs, ERJs, 737, 777 etc.
The lack of 737-800 is lame. It is still the most popular narrow body mid range all around airliner around the world.

@@deaclavilis6760 no the a320neo has more monthly planned flights than the b737-800 by quite some margin now it has for quite some time aswell

You can land in any airport in the world but these are just hand crafted airports

Probably not from Asobo. Hand Crafting all those vintage dials and switches it a lot of work. That's why most of the aircrafts are G1000 or glass cockpit, much easier to do sim-wise. These will most likely be brought to the marketplace by third parties. I mean, yes, FS2004 and X had vintage birds. But older graphics meant less work when your dials are just an animated texture.

Will be learning everything there is about the 787, cant wait. Already familiar with the 737 and 747 on fsx. Gonna be the longest 9 days :D
737 and 747 on fsx are extremely inaccurate
I am sooo looking forward to this!!!!! I even bought a brand new top of the line system solely for this simulator...but...I am a little disappointed at the lack of variety with the jets. I get it, lots of people like the low and slow flying. And that's fine. Nothing wrong at all. But some of us actually do enjoy flying the big ones everywhere. I would've liked a 737, a few regional jets (maybe ERJ 145 and 175 or a few Canadair jets), an A330, and a 777 in addition to the A320, 747, and 787 we do get. A380 and A340 and A350 would be nice but not my personal favorite to fly (at least in FSX). Hopefully developers will be making add ons. I will happily pay for more big commercial birds assuming the quality is the same as what comes stock with the program.
Edit: also wouldn't mind having some rotor action. Even FSX had 2 helicopters stock haha.
2nd edit: Yes I realize alot of the birds I mentioned weren't stock in previous releases. That's why I'm hoping the developer's come through or it's included in updates :)

kinda wish 1 or 2 military aircraft were included, the closest thing to a military flight sim on console is Ace Combat which is not at all realistic (not in a bad way though)
going to play it on PC anyways, I hope that community add some modes like F-18 or F-16
I agree FSX had at least a WW2 corsair and WW1 camel and Helicopter and a regular and amphibian caravan, I hate how much experimental aircraft are on here instead of the OG popular ones
What about DCS? Isn't that a military flight sim? I don't know anything about it though.

@@TacticalBaguette it will become available only for xbox on late november when the new console releases and will run 10x better than PC because consoles are made to be played with not anything else

An addon from Flight Beam KSFO or Fly Tampa OMDB would cost an extra 30-50 bucks alone if you want those airports in top quality. You get those 2 and another 8 airports and 10 more airplanes with the Premium Deluxe. IMO its the best package they are offering or you are just flying a certain area maybe not.

I hope military aircraft and some hand crafted Air Force bases can be added soon. It’s weird to have a bunch of afbs with only civilian planes.

Keep coming back to this video to quickly look through all the cockpits for avionics, does anybody know a list somewhere with all of the avionics of the aircraft?
I wish they had more seaplanes, eg the Cessna grand caravan with floaters. Also some regional airlines like the CRJ series would have been good. And one big business jet like bombardier global express or gulf stream g650

@@SnazzieTV I can probably count the amount of hours I've spent in a prop plane on two hands, both in X-Plane and Flight Sim together.
They may be fun to use with friends, but quite frankly, I only care about airliners - and so far there's only 3-4 planes in FS 2020 that I'm interested in.
@@DLDrillNB Remember that airliner are EXTREMLY more complex to create and simulate, you still can expect PMDG with their 777,737 and 747 soon ^^

hello i have a question i hope you can help me. how do you get airlines on the plane so for example that you fly with klm or with turkish airlines. I hope you can help me.
I am a private pilot and like to use FSX Steam Addition to fly to and from smaller airports in the USA. I fly a Piper Archer II, but don't see it listed. Are ALL US airports in the package? Are there after market providers for Piper singles?

How can I chose an airplane and an airport? I was able to change the plane in my hangar from Cessna to F-18, and I created a flight plan from LA to Long Beach, but when I click "Fly", there´s always a Cessna in Munich (EDDM).
I really want this game but can't afford it on Steam right now since the version with the most planes is so expensive.

Every airport in the world is included, those 30 airports are hand crafted, basically they’ve been built by hand so they look as realistic as possible, and you can buy additional planes as DLC

I am the biggest fan of Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is my dream that after school ends, I would fly a Cessna 152 in Flying School. In my puja vacations, whI go to Delhi, I played the game standard edition in my relatives i7 laptop with NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4090. I am trying to play it in my home. I hope it will work. I love this game the most.

Will airline liveries get added onto aircraft?
I not a fan that they left out Atlanta and DFW (for DLC's I'm sure) [#1 and 4 respectively in passengers, sandwiching LAX and O'Hare at the 2 and 3 slots].
I get the need for remote/challenging/exotic smaller airports to add to the intrigue for launch but man these two airports are (for me anyway) painful to miss out on opening day for the amount of money MSFS is asking at the high end.

Don’t have IAD (Dulles International) which is literally the international airport for northern VA/Washington D.C., the capital of the US. Seems a bit odd to me that they didn’t model that one.

They need to add premium air planes like (dreamlifter or an-225 or even something crazy like the f16 jet.) We need more variety other than propellant planes or just regular everyday commercial aircrafts. They need a add exotic stuff you don't see everyday in the sky. Hell idc if it's the (supper guppy from NASA) its something new and cool.
They need to add way more jetliners. People love to fly them.
@Micah What do you mean sights? I'm just saying in the older sims we can basically fly any type of aircrafts.
