My cover-remix of the Mechanism 8 track from Unreal Tournament 1999, made entirely in mobile FL Studio. Inspired by Necto Ulin's cover of the same track.

Honestly i haven't seen many people "copy" NU (maybe i just haven't looked enough :P), but it's probably because his covers sound better than those from the very few other artists, at least in my opinion. I've looked for covers on Foregone Destruction, Go Down, Mech8 and UT99's main menu theme, and i've found NU's to be the best, because they don't stray too far from the original tracks. I didn't necessarily try to copy Necto's work, the only thing i did was do the same sequencing as in his remix to keep the pace of the track going, because i didn't like how the original had like 2 minutes of "downtime" in the middle of it. On another note, maybe i should upload my other remixes i've done earlier... And i'm also working (albeit very slowly) on two more remixes, so i'll probably upload them here sooner or later!
@@Rivgane Agree. And hope you heard Phrakture's Foregone Destruction, becouse it is strong competition to NU's FD (and better in my oppinion)) Btw love your work very much!
@@hairkip Haven't heard that one before, but i just checked it out and its pretty dang good! Maybe a bit too slow for UT's pace, imo, but as it's own piece it works i guess :P And thank you!
