- This song from 1966 .. had a classic organ part. Question Mark and the Mysterians are from Bay City Mich. area. This song in the key of G and uses just G and C chords except the chorus does switch to Em for a bit. This not one I can play and sing very well. I'm still working at it.

The keyboard player of the "Mysterians", Frankie Rodriguez, came up with this iconic riff on a Thomas A-100 electric organ. Frankie was all of 14 years old and yes boogiebeau, you haven't quite sussed it out yet.
He was 14?
I really enjoyed this, sounds great. I was thinking of playing this but It is a bit more involved than i expected.

Hats off to you !!!
I've loved this song forever.
Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, the Monkees, the Doors, the Cars, Neil Diamond's "I'm a Believer" and even Smashmouth, owe much to this legendary band from Saginaw. Excellent work !!!!
Just discovered your channel.
Hoping you do more videos.
Greetings from Cincinnati
I thought it was a lot more complicated than that because it sounded like a bunch of keys were all pressed together but it’s just three keys That makes the off key sound. I’ve had to 45 RPM since 1966.
I like your singing voice. I will try on my new and first electronic keyboard!
VERY GOOD LESSON,YOU DO A GREAT JOB SINGING THIS TOO, THANKS.
