This is a wonderful roundup, I’m a huge boat neck fan and started knitting the cloud blouse (with a cotton yarn that has a nylon core). I might end up doing a 2 stitch hind off on the neck that looks like an icord. Have you taken a look at the 6 in 1 top by oops and loops? I think the 6 in 1 top has a lot of elements you mentioned linking.
I vote for the tombo tee ! I think the contiguous construction is the closest from the square shape you like in the blouse no 1. And I’m also totally obsessed with it since it came out 😂 you could also modify it quite easily by casting on a larger neckline and shorten the shoulder increasing section accordingly, that would solve your concerns about the neckline being too small and go in the direction of the wide boatneck 👌🏻
@@millahism I appreciate that I'm not alone 😂 thanks for the vote, I definitely am excited about the tombo! and that's a good mod to consider, I don't mind the high neckline aesthetically, as long as I can get it over my head - I just skimmed the pattern and it's like 30 rounds flat before joining in the round, so I do think I'll experiment with knitting it without mods and try it on first 🥰 just one big swatch hehe
I love my Feels Right tee. The shaping is lovely. Knitted in pure silk and my neck line is fine. I sized up a little so don’t know how much that affected the neck, though 🤷🏻♀️ Good luck whatever you choose x
As usual I am coming to recommend one of Alice Hammer's patterns lol, Jeanne is a pure silk tee, and its neckline is finished with an icord. I love myself some saddle shoulders, so I am leaning towards the Tombo! But they all look great honestly
@@gougere thank you, that pattern wasn't on my radar! It looks super cute 🥰 That's two votes for the tombo, I'll have to swatch/try the neckline ASAP :)
I would go with the Farfa Top! I believe it would be the closest to the Blouse No 1, although it is a raglan. I am making the Cumulus O-neck right now, and it is a lovely pattern but I don't think the fit would be really similar to Blouse No 1!

@@andreeaknits thank you! I think the farfa has made it onto my queue regardless, even though I've started the tombo to check the neckline 🥰
Check Aldous by Isabelle Kraemer and Ankestrick has some well fitting shoulder/sleeve constr. patterns
@@solveigjohannesdottir1813 thank you, I'll take a look!
