Balewa was not lumumba, their government was utterly corrupt most especially okotie oboh,if you read the account of this men you will realise the shitty government they were running
Tafawa Balewa was a good man. He had not a single foreign bank account. Not a single palace mansion to his name. Yet, they killed him. That's horrible!
He ran a very shitty government,if you read Nigeria history in relation to those times you will realise these guys were unpopular, the coup was just a matter of time, they had it coming
It was such a senseless, needless and completely unnecessary coup that truncated Nigeria's march to greatness. Those young men were so misguided, foolish, selfish but above all ethnic bigots who sowed the very seed of today's unbridled tribalism in Nigeria.

Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa was a remarkable leader who exemplified humility and dedication to his country. He lived a modest life, with no foreign bank accounts or lavish mansions to his name. In fact, he was known to buy everyday items like beverages and provisions on credit, only paying for them when he received his salary. Balewa's commitment to Nigeria was unwavering, and he served the country with unshakeable passion and integrity. His leadership style was characterized by simplicity, honesty, and a genuine desire to uplift his people. He was a true patriot who put the interests of Nigeria above his own personal gain. As a leader, Balewa's legacy continues to inspire generations of Nigerians. His selflessness, humility, and dedication to public service are qualities that are sadly rare in today's political landscape. He remains one of Nigeria's most beloved and respected leaders, and his memory continues to be celebrated and honored by the nation. It's quite unfortunate history as a subject is no longer allowed in our primary and secondary schools.

How much veracity do attribute to Major Ademoyega's account?

The alleged Igbo coup
Babaric
God will purnish igbos
Sir this story brings bad memories to the north. He was not buried the same day he was killed. The north will never forgive the igbo for that.
The northerners won't forgive the Yorubas too, because a yoruba man was part and parcel of the coup.
Look at how senseless you sound. What concerns Igbos with some group of disgruntled young officers of the Nigerian military.
