If Jesus was tempted then He could have sinned. But He didn’t! He proved it can be done and purchased our righteousness as a result of His virgin birth, sinless life, and obedience in death. His resurrection sealed our fates.
This covered many topics I've been questioning. I appreciate Andrew saying "Christian " music isn't always godly. I've noticed this. It plays Christians as victims 🤷♀️
In Jewish culture the messiah would have to perform 4 types of miracles to prove to the pharisees his power over the 4 areas of sin mentioned in leviticus 1-6 that required a blood sacrifice. One of these was to heal someone of a birth defect to show power over man's inherited sin. This is what I believe Jesus was referring to when he answered his disciples' question that it was for God's glory and not from the sin of his parents. Also God set the record straight in the old testament when he told then to quit saying that the parents ate sour grapes their children's teeth were on edge. So that was not something Jesus needed to explain. I learned this from a messianic Jewish lady and can send u her info if interested. She just shared the the info about the miracles. She did not mention it might have been what Jesus was referring too.. The other miracles were casting out a deaf and dumb spirit, raising someone from being dead 3 days, ( which explains why Jesus waited on going sooner to Lazarus and said it was for God's glory) . Also would explain why pharisees were mad enough to kill em both.. as it was the final of the four . Healing a leper was the other miracle, which may be why Jesus told the leper to go show the priest. Again this is not revealed or spoken of in the Bible. Amd it is my thinking based on information I was told. But it seems explain some hard to understand questions and lifts Jesus higher, so I share hoping to be a blessing. so thankful for AWM and hopefully Andrew gets to see this. SO BLESSED and grateful to God for the revelations he pours out in so many ways..
