Thank you for this vid! Quick tip for anyone trying to decide between the 2, as far as I can see you can only have 1 video clip on screen at a time in RU. So if you're trying to do a split screen, you'll have to go big with PR
Since I've NEVER done any video editing before, I think I'll start with Adobe Rush and work my way up to Premiere Pro. I think it's just gonna make the learning and editing process a lot more fun and smooth, instead of being frustrated with a very complex software from the get go.
You explained well and got to the point really quick! After watching this and stressing over a week trying to figure out which one to go with, I will be sticking with paid rush until I learn how to edit videos. Thank you.
This video was extremely well done. I like how you showed the programs more instead of quick flashes. Appreciate the time you took to make this video my friend. I’ve been in Rush for a year now for my RUclips videos and I think I am going to switch to Pro now after seeing your video. LIKED & SUBBED 💯
Really helpful, thinking of switching as Rush always crashes for me but I actually learned editing using Premiere. Hope to step up the game again with Premiere Pro in 2021 on my channel 😊
I have some 100 hours of home family videos that I need to split into various pieces in a library and then recombine per family member. I am torn between Rush, Premier Pro, Premier Element and other video software. I have been a Lightroom user for many years and now needing to do this video project. What would you recommend I use? Thank you
Hi there. Let's say that I I'm going to shoot video with an Iphone 12 pro and stabilized gimble. I may even shoot with my DSLR. Then I'm going to create transitions, maybe some text, reduce noise, deal with the standard color and contrast settings such as vibrance, color correction and sharpening. And this end product will be delivered to a client in resolutions anywhere from 1080 to 4k. What would you suggest I do? I have no experience with video editing software but I am a professional photographer with the Adobe photography package.
I have two 4k videos of 16 and 6 GB each. When I add them to a Rush project, add music, and output, the merge video is only 6GB even if I specify 4k output. The largest file I got was to use typical RUclips output, which is 4k, and it is 16GB. The comparison shows that neither output video has the same clarity as the recorded video using DJI action 5 pro 4k. Do you know anyway that I can get the same clarity? I suppose that is when the being merged files are about the same size as the output file. Or Rush will just muddle the videos to some extend no matter how?
I keep trying to get the hang of Premiere Pro but its so much frustration when I do so. I end up switching back to rush and have it done so quick. Its rarly I want to do something in Rush that I cannot do. Its probably a dozen tools I wish Rush would do. I feel like the software is so unrelated as even simple tasks in Premiere I have to watch a video to find out how to do it. Gonna keep trying to get the hang of Premiere Pro hopefully I will get there. Stabilization is probably the #1 thing I wish Rush had some sort of.
Would Premier Rush allow me to do superposition of two videos? Like for example, a video of me playing guitar and the other one of me singing in the same screen? 🤔
What got me to my decisions was first and foremost the cross platform and the way he describes the user friendly and the technical aspects of the matter. very interesting video, can you make 4k videos on adobe rush? Ive been using Sony Vegas for so many yrs, but Im really tired of system crashing and lagging while using the software. I tried the Premiere before, but I feel that is very complicated to use. Im definitely going to give a try on adobe rush. Thank u for the video.
Hi you cannot record directly to premiere, the closest would be to use OBS or another screen capture software and then import the file to premiere pro. Rush does infact have direct capture.
On a Mac, FinalCut Pro will always be faster and better than premiere . Faster 4k and 8k . Mac software always better on their product . However, i started using adobe rush only for my phone. It works great for my phone, keep final cut pro for my desktop.
