- Tanakh - a Hebrew acronym for Torah (Law or Instruction), Nevi'im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings) - is also known as the Hebrew Bible or simply the Bible for the Jewish people. It is NOT the same as the "Old Testament" of Christian literature. Learn about some important differences in this video.
