I gotta make one of these for sure. And maybe wrap mine with some kind of fabric. Maybe fabric from an old frogtog rain suit I have laying around...thanks for the great idea.
Great idea! I recently spent the $43 for the inflatable Thermarest lumbar pillow that a lot of paddlers use. While it is pricey, I will say that it does a good job and the adjustability is nice. I'm all about saving money and making your own stuff from scratch. Keep posting videos and thanks for sharing the great ideas!
I've found the best way to stick anything foam or EVA together is weldwood Contact Cement. Let both sides dry and when you touch them together... Instant bond so line them up with registration marks while dry.
Excellent hack. A word of caution re: the tape. I used FLEX tape to cover two holes on the seat of my tractor. The seams curled up one day and deposited adhesive residue on the seat of my shorts. SheWhoMustBeObeyed was unhappy...very unhappy. If I put heavy duty tape on a backrest, I'd make sure it ended on the sides, and not on the part that contacted my back.
Interesting. Gonna cut to the chase and keep doing planks. Best thing I can do for my back is strengthen my core. I realize that might not be a option for some. An adjustable option is cutting the “pillow” off an old air mattress.
Hay here is another dollar store hack buy the three pack of bungee cords and three packs of carebeaners and you get three rod leashes just cut off the plastic ends off shove the bungee cords ( not the metal bands ) push catebeaners through the loop
I need to try this. I could definitely use the support. Thanks, bud!

Wait!!!! I thought I married her.... What's the deal? lol Thanks for the tip!
:>)
Great idea! It looks comfortable. Try a child's foam, floaty board from Dollar Tree. It was a little stiff.
The floaty board is the next solution once they come back in stock!
Thats what she said
Great idea
I have a perception striker 11.5 how can I make a seat for it, thanks enjoyed the video very much
Sorry, since I do not own that model, I am at a loss. Perhaps you can search RUclips and find the answer.
ok thanks
Good video, you should train most of the people making videos on RUclips how to make videos properly!
I appreciate that!

Do you think the people at your local Dollar Store are wondering why they're selling pool noodles in the off-season? :)
Nice inexpensive hack 👍
Actually, they do not have them now. I had to pull this one out from the inside of my hull! lol... buoyancy hack will not fail! One noodle short!
@@KayakhacksFishing:) You're short a partial noodle. Part of it is now part of the seat👍

Great hack! I had not seen that item at my Dollar Store. I'll look for it!
you would think that expensive kayak and seat would have been made better.
Yes!
Any time you start modifying use cardboard or newspaper for the pattern first.
How would you use flat cardboard to simulate a round pool noodle?
Ok mr cardboard king
