NIL was the biggest draw, no doubts there, but I guarantee the atmosphere and welcome she experienced played a factor in her choice. People have to experience the atmosphere of LSU firsthand to truly understand what it’s like. Now, Morrow sees it and she wants in on it. #GeauxTigers!!
Hi well she could be very helpful to South Carolina now your hold five starters is gone and south Carolina is in a rebuilding thing your do have a Center but she is not like Boston? LSU is the team now.

Here was my comment from 4 Days ago... Spot-on!! Morrow will find exactly what she is looking for in Baton Rouge! The program is 🔥 FIRE, right now! Morrow wants, “better opportunities in business, entrepreneurship, style and fashion, the 20-year-old wants her new program to help her further her education and purse her interests on and off the court.” - ESPN LSU is head and shoulders above both USC and SC; and it’s not even close! Morrow was at the #1 ranked LSU Baseball game on Friday night, escorted by #2 women’s NIL money earner (Angel Reese) and #4 (Flau’jae Johnson) being treated like Rock Stars. While there, the WBB staff member in charge of NIL Deals for LSU (Jennifer Roberts) also introduced her to Livvy Dunne (the #1 Women’s NIL earner and LSU gymnast on the LSU’s Final Four Gymnastics Team at $3.5 million/yr) to educate her in opportunities at LSU. For example, Angel Reese was at the LSU’s Spring game (LSU SEC West Division Champs) with NFL Superstar Joe Burrow to promote the game. The line to sign autographs was, surprisingly, twice as long for Reese! These girls are Rock Stars on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram! There’s videos of them at dinner with patrons applauding as they walked by! Morrow was shown how her exposure and earnings could rocket her to heights she could never attain at those other two schools. It’s a whole different world of opportunities here at LSU. Do you really think that a 20 something from a middle-class upbringing will be thinking about X’s and O’s after this whirlwind eye-opening experience? Go back and look at what she said she was looking for… she was just shown everything she needs to see by Kim Mulky and her staff. It’s why, last years #1 Transfer Portal player came, it’s why this year’s #1/#2 Transfer Portal player (HVL) just signed, it’s why Mulky is also bringing in the #1 Recruiting Class… because LSU is the hottest game in WBB, right now! Did I mention that they are currently listed (before Morrow) as the preseason Favorite to win the Natty in 2023-24? Yeah, she done… ✅
You was spot on with it and I agree with everything you said. Them Gamecock fans big mad they didn’t have her official visit with her. After LSU went all out for her it’s kinda of hard to not to commit and don’t blame her. Some ppl was like she waste Coach Dawn time lol but I’m sure she respectfully called her in advance. College athletes are now making business decisions when it comes to college sports, and LSU has set up a system where they check all the boxes. What LSU is doing is not creating a super team in college basketball; Pat Summit and Geno at UConn ushered in the superteam with the most talented rosters era back in the 90s before other schools started leveling the playing field. It was about the best coach, the best training, the best facilities, and playing in front of the biggest crowds...It's 2023. Now you have to add all that and the NIL deals, and right now, LSU is leading the business part of the game and attracting the best talent. It's a new era and a way for college students to level up. LSU is letting the athletes build their brands, and you can only do that by being yourself. As Coach Mulky said, as long as the young ladies are not doing anything that is tarnishing the LSU brand, then you have to let them market themselves in the best way they can to earn those generational wealth dollars. Had NIL been around in my basketball days, I would have made a killing. I gave the university all my money-making ideas, which they used to support the women's team. Plus, with old money in sugarcane country, the choice was a no-brainer, you ask me...
Thank you so much for your perspective. You are totally right LSU is doing a masterful job on the business end. Wonder how long it will take other schools to catch up
I am so excited for her! Bruh I just knew when I saw her in those TikTok's😀May she find her bag and all of them gel successfully! This season is going to be interestingly lit!

LSU can win again all depending on how healthy they are, and if all the new pieces can gel like the last. I think Morrow made the right choice because she'll be able to sharpen her skills and she'll be loved here. She won't have to carry the whole load and she can concentrate on new aspects of the game. By the way, love your perspective!
As a Gamecock fan I wish Morrow well with her choice. It’s funny how some fans think SC will just fade away now. We still have talent on the roster and will bring in more talent. Dawn’s track record speaks for itself. Only wish we could grow the women’s game without all the vitriol and infighting amongst fan bases.
Yea I think anyone who thinks that SC is washed is WILD! I think that SC will embrace being the “underdog” and may very well surprise folks and make it to the championship game. Dawns a great coach and if a team sleeps on them she will take advantage

She really is that good! I look forward to seeing how her game translates to collegiate play. I think she has way more versatility than Poole. However, Poole has the experience, proven defense, scoring ability, and success at the collegiate level. So I’m sticking with Poole being a starter for now. You never know
@@audriwilliams7943 She's starting. The only reason she wouldn't is if she doesn't defend, but if Flaujae got the start last season, Mikaylah is definitely starting, she's way better than Flaujae was as a freshman. Poole wasn't even a starter. She only replaced Jasmine in the tourney.
SC fan here, not really suprised by the news. Kind of knew after her LSU visit plus the NIL deals they have, it was pretty much a done deal. Kind of figured she would commit before stepping foot on Carolina's campus. On paper they should be the favorites to win, but like you said, uconn looks to be healthy and really good and we will see what happens once the game is played. Noone is really expecting SC to be a contender this year, but they still have a ton of young talent that didnt see a lot of playing time. Itll be interesting to see how good they will be especially since the spotlight is no longer on them, and then expectations from a fan/media perspective arent quite as high.
That was in Junior College, in Div. 1 the year before she averaged 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds shooting 49.3% from the field in 2022 Big Difference from Junior college. LSU has 3 players coming back that averaged 20+ points, they have two of the Top five leading Reboundings, and Two players that led the nation in doubles-doubles. All of your big scorers have left the building, your returning leading scorer is averaging in the single digits (9.8). Good luck next year, I like our chances.
I think it’s a great fit. Essentially, you can not double team them. Or Pick your poison of death. The defensive versatility this team has is going to tremendous. They can go Big or small depend on the matchup. This team will be so fun to watch on both ends of the floor. Would love to see a matchup next season, between UCONN and LSU before conference play starts. Great move for her. LSU women are killing it in NIL deals. The spot light and all eyes will be on LSU all next yr. The storylines to follow next season. Get your popcorn ready.
Great content! You're right, Aneesah Morrow is getting that NILSU bag from the JUMP. Gotta love it. BTW, I would definitely like to see a report on the Lady Gamecocks' new transfer portal commit, JuCo player of the year, 6'5'' center Sakima Walker. Seems like she will, at least in part, fill the hole left by the departure of Aliyah Boston. Talk about BIG SHOES to fill...
The pressure and expectations that were on South Carolina last year to win will now be replace on lsu shoulders. We'll see how they handle going hunter to hunted as the vilkian of wcbb.
I think this makes LSU team better than last season. I figured she was going to pick LSU, because she wanted to play with Angel Reese. She wants to be on championship team. Look at all the doors opening for Angel Reese after winning a championship.
@@jeromesmith3968 I would say it’s an NIL super team. Three of the top 8 NIL getters are on a team together. And now you add another player who is likely to get a lot more NIL money.
LSU is going to be very good on paper, but you still have to play the games, and you’ll still have UConn, SC, Iowa..etc. They’ll be the favorites for sure, but you have to mesh together. I fully believe that Mulkey is the right person for doing just that. It’s going to be a really interesting season.
You threw Iowa into the mix...they have to get to and then through the tournament first. But LSU has to go through the gauntlet of the SEC schedule to include the Gamecocks, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky...LSU had a steal this season and should be thankful that Iowa played their best game against the Gamecocks.
In terms of South Carolina, they are old news. That was going to be the fact of the matter as soon as Kim Mulkey signed with LSU and I knew that last year when we went toe to toe with them with a last minute, glued together roster. They matched up with us much better this year and they were extremely hot the night we faced them this year in South Carolina. Also the starting five will be HVL, Johnson, Makayla Williams, Angel Reese and Morrow. That will be for the majority of the games anyway. Yes Makayla is that good! We have been hearing that Del Rosario will need to adjust a little before she’s ready but she will absolutely get plenty of minutes. But with the first lineup, they will be plenty big to take on most teams and when we face teams with more size, I think she will go with a taller lineup but mix it in. We will see how that all works but that’s what most here think will be the starting lineup and so do I. That would give LSU 3 girls 6’ or taller but all can handle the ball well, shoot the ball well and score in the paint. Cuts down on TO’s, gives defenders so much to defend and leaves your offense extremely versatile. If the offense is cold and we need more bodies inside, then you go with Smith/ Del Rosario, Reese, HVL, Morrow and either Makayla, Johnson, Last-Tier Poa, or Pool. That will be the next line up and then they will mix and match from all of these. Then we may also see some new faces, if they step their game up or show that they have something to offer as well. But I think these will be the main 9 players who will see the most minutes, for sure. They are the most talented, have the most upside and the most experience. Also with the first lineup, Morrow will still be able to get her double doubles. You right, she may not get as many but she will also be able to shoot the 3 a whole lot more and have clearer lanes to lay it up with all this talent to defend. No one will be able to double or triple Reese anymore or Morrow or Haley Van-lith. It’ll be a super fun team to watch. While we know that a championship is earned, LSU is easily the favorites to win it all again. How would Iowa, UConn, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Michigan or anyone be able to defend this team? Their bench players would make it a top 10 team and make the tourney. LSU could potentially have 5 or 6 All Americans or at least future AA’s playing for them next year.
Its early to be calling a team the NCAA champion of 2024. I'm from Maryland, and cheer on many different teams and players. You must remember the referees can play a part in these games. The referees played a part in getting Aliyah Boston to the bench, in foul trouble, and deciding the SC game with Iowa. I also remember SC destroying LSU in South Carolina. LSU has got to show that they can beat SC. I hope the championship is not decided by illness or injury. LSU looks outstanding on paper, but you've got to play the game.
@@graemeanderson3079Do you realize LSU had a bunch of New Players and first time they all played together and won the championship 😳… when LSU and SC played Angel Reese was even in Foul trouble early on also but no excuses.. we won the chip and y’all didn’t lol

Alexis Morris recently came out with a video stating that she felt like she basically was not prepared for the pros. My main question is yes LSU seems fun and the NILs are great but are they really preparing their players for the next level? Are they really preparing their bench players to take on the seniors positions etc
I don’t like this, Carolina needs to step up with the NIL or we will lose many many more top recruits over NIL deals . Morrow didn’t even visit SC , that’s not good. But we’ll take the 6-5 post player added .
Exactly, these ladies still have to go out and compete to defend that title. It ain’t easy having a target on your back. Overall, I’m extremely happy for Aneesah and the whole LSU squad
I wish she would have went to south Carolina. Just to show respect to them. She left baton rouge knowing she was coming back. I heard you say she was smart, I didn't know how smart she was. She's not just a great basketball player, she's a smart one...

When I went to New Orleans for my college visit, I committed right then, and there I didn't go on any other visits. I told my high school coach this is it, and it was where do I sign...lol, I had four of the best years of my life! Visiting South Carolina knowing your mind was made up to go to LSU would have been disingenuous in my opinion.
Well, LSU now has the best team that money can buy. Expectations will be very high for a repeat. We will see how this translates to success on the court. They could and should destroy every team they face.
Being real. Mulkey had to rebuild to get back there again it's nice being Champions and Money talks. All of you for getting a team back East called the Big East Champions UCONN Women's they are rebuilding as well and anything can happen in sports that's life.
I’m excited to see how they build on their success this year. BUT I think they will have a tougher time. I’ll try and make a video about it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Well they beat Iowa lost to Indiana by two within 5 points ay Maryland .First year coach Shauna Green brought in like 4-5 transfer last year and won 20 games and became competetive. This year went to North Carolina and bolstered a weakness in size with a transfer from NC State Camilla Lobby (the transfer from NC State being my fav player on Ill Genesis Bryant was the first.) and Shay Bollin from Duke. After that she signed her first player from Illinois 6 ft 6 Hayven Smith probably the biggest too. These will help the team next year ,but the biggest thing are not going to realize is how much the Admin is behind a growth in the womens sports along with these two booster groups that have supported this. Chicago players will answer NIL at this school iwhen they are winning..Im a fan of your page so thank you for posting..

SC got 6’6” Sakima Walker 56% from 3 with 17 points and 9 rebounds per game.
Yea, a really good pickup. I plan on making a video about it
So, maybe take that post to a S Carolina thread.
@@rachet0708 I can post it anywhere I want and this has SC involved so I decided to post it here …
Ain't got shit about S.C. But props on showing us how to be a classless troll.
Popcorn is ready!
I’ll make a video about it! Be on the lookout
@@QuitaLovesSports I'll look forward to it. I think this was a BIG get for SC, who really needed a bit of good news after Morrow canceled her visit.
LSU LADY 🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯 REPEAT!!!!
The pressure and expectations that were on South Carolina last year to win will now be replace on lsu shoulders. We'll see how they handle going hunter to hunted as the vilkian of wcbb.
Yup! The pressure is on.
We don't know what the new season will bring, but I suspect SC will be in the running from the first game.
Go tigers 🎉🎉🎉🎉
LSU should beat everyone by 30 points and the top teams by 10. Most stacked team ever!
LSU will be the team to watch for sure. But with so many stars I see some people transferring due to lack of playing time next year.
That is very much a possibility, we will see…
LSU got a roster to behold, top recruiting class, most of their top players coming back, two top tier transfer players goodness lol
There program is amazing. If any of my daughters was attending college presently L.S.U. stands out both athelectically& Scolarly
I think this makes LSU team better than last season. I figured she was going to pick LSU, because she wanted to play with Angel Reese. She wants to be on championship team. Look at all the doors opening for Angel Reese after winning a championship.
It's about to go down!!
Aneesah Morreaux!.. GEAUX TIGERS!!!..🐅💜💛🏆💍
Mulkey won the chip circled the block and picked up HVL and AM😳😳😳😳
DO NOT PLAY WITH HER!!!
I see Makalah at SF and Morrow at F Midrange
Mikaylah Williams is coming to start
LSU b2b champs, give us our natty nooow 🐯
A Dynasty is born on Bayou.
OK Kim Mulkey go ahead and say it ! It’s LSU and everybody else!( Mulkey favorite line months ago “ it’s SC and everybody else” lol
The wait is over. Aneesah is officially a lady tiger. 🎉
Wow....Thats a super team
The first NIL made super team
@@QuitaLovesSports that’s not a super team. But okay.
@@jeromesmith3968 I would say it’s an NIL super team. Three of the top 8 NIL getters are on a team together. And now you add another player who is likely to get a lot more NIL money.
Super Team VS SUPERGIRL.
That’s crazy, so Aneesah Morrow met Livvy Dunne, Angel Reece & Flau’jae, the top NIL money earners at LSU on the same night😢
Who's best player wnba right now aja Wilson from south csrliona.who better player boston or Reese that's easy boston.
@@graemeanderson3079Do you realize LSU had a bunch of New Players and first time they all played together and won the championship 😳… when LSU and SC played Angel Reese was even in Foul trouble early on also but no excuses.. we won the chip and y’all didn’t lol

@@graemeanderson3079 that’s not being disputed.. Sc was the better team because of the fact they had a more Veteran team and on they home floor … that’s the pass you can’t bring back what happened yesterday!! This a New LSU team with more Veterans leaders now .. and even more better shooters with a 6”5 paint beast and a Point Guard that’s probably gone one day be Player of the year 😌
Soon as I seen her cold blooded photo shoot in those LSU colors I knew it was a done deal 🤝
Aneesha Morrow will develop her skills to another level.
Morrows video using AI Cactus to say where she was going....really very very now.. Extremely well done..
As a Iowa Hawkeyes, Purdue Boilermakers and UCLA Bruins I love my teams deeply but this LSU ALL STAR team leaves me feeling dejected and UGHHHHH... I don't know if anyone can beat this team now Quita, its possible but very likely. The Tigers are now FILTHY GOOD!!!
Starting 5 is going to be Poole, Reese, Van lith, Johnson , and morrow
Actually it will be mikayla williams not poole
nope, the freshman is playing the 5
@@DaishaReese Poole has experience tho and she started the rest of the games late last season I think Kim would like the bring the freshman off the bench
@@chrismurray4120 her numbers weren’t good at all this season , Kim is going to bring her off the bench watch
Johnson probably will come off the bench this season. 👀
Meanwhile South Carolina got a player of the year out of JUCO. It would’ve been interesting seeing morrow pair up with juju
Awesome🥳🥳🥳🥳
Those SC visits keep getting cancelled 🤣🤣
Not surprised
Go Tiger’s
Barring injuries LSU will be preseason number 1 and odds on favs to win it all. And , GEAUX TIGERS! 😊😊
Health is key!
Yeah, that “video” never happened… must be a Gamecock fan?
The Alexis Morris video is coming! Just seeing how everything shakes out during pre season before I record.
That’s not what she said. She said it would help bridge the gap. Alexis is 100% fine and prepared. She’s been on 4 different college teams
Dream Team
Plzzz make a video of South Carolina transfers !! 🫶🏾
Will do!
Fantastic news!

Exactly, these ladies still have to go out and compete to defend that title. It ain’t easy having a target on your back. Overall, I’m extremely happy for Aneesah and the whole LSU squad
Yup, you still have to show up and show out. No days off during the season
The SEC NCAA conference is by far the best conference in college sports, from nutrition, facilities etc
As a Gamecocks fan and Kim Mulkey antagonist, this hurts. I'm glad Morrow's happy, though.
I agree!!
LACK MORALE? ARE YOU HIGH?
College sports is now professional sports. Can’t have nice things.
It's a new era of college basketball
I wish she would have went to south Carolina. Just to show respect to them. She left baton rouge knowing she was coming back. I heard you say she was smart, I didn't know how smart she was. She's not just a great basketball player, she's a smart one...
Her whole announcement rollout kind of felt like a mini version of LeBron’s “The Decision” . She knows that sports is partially about theater and she put on a good show, knowing where she was going the entire time
@@QuitaLovesSports I know your right, but don't be mad at her. Those of us who have young daughter's will thank these young black women for showing them never settle. Go get your worth. Thanks for your comment.
@@louispillette3237 totally agree. I love that the women’s game has got to the point where players can do this and have people pay attention. Players have the power and they are fully taking advantage now
You know, when you know you are in the right place, you respectfully decline all other offers.
Repeat.......Golden gals from Tiger Land
That great
LSU is going to be "punch drunk" from all of the stars. I hope they have a GREAT year!!
I didn't think the ncaa portal would let player's go to a team coming off a championship
There’s no rules around it. Would it be helpful for me to make a video about transfer portal rules?
@@QuitaLovesSports yes you should cause alot of people just now learning about the portal this year
I’m a GAMECOCK FAN but this hurts 😢 they definitely replaced Morris right
Still can’t get past UConn
We will see what happens. UCONN will be at full strength so that would be a good matchup
Hope she doesn't regret that move😮
Will aneesah morrow play the 4 or 5 for LSU 🤔
I think she plays the 3
Del Rosario and Samyah are 5s and AR will play 5 if they go small
Where does Angelica Velez fit in? She looks really good with some shifty ball handling skills.
I cant wait to we play them 😈

Do you owe loyalty to a team you haven't committed to lol?
Angel Reese did the same thing to South Carolina. She canceled the visit and committed to LSU.

What you think about the Maryland Terps team for the coming year
I’m excited to see how they build on their success this year. BUT I think they will have a tougher time. I’ll try and make a video about it. Thanks for the suggestion!
She said that south Carolina lacked morale so Lsu was best fit for her and i understand that. Geaux Lsu why not 😊😊😊
FOS!!! She will regret her choice!!
To be honest there is real good money at Illinois for her but ...Quita watch for the Illini up and coming..
Illinois women’s team? To be honest I haven’t really watched them play for years. I will check them out next year!
@@rlouizjr00 thanks so much for the recent history lesson!
