The volcano is erupting for the first time since 1984, ending its longest quiet period in recorded history. Hawaii officials say the 2022 eruption does not pose any threat to property, though unpleasant volcanic gases and fine ash may drift downslope. Mauna Loa rises 13,679ft (4,169 meters) above the Pacific Ocean and dominates the Island of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island.

Nature's power is enormous. What we are seeing right now in this video is just a tip of an atom.
What a gorgeous spectacle

I heard about this yesterday in my geology class in college nice.
Unbelievable but true
Beautiful 🌋😍
Wow. Is this going to be a biggie? Mauna Loa sue dwarfs everything else in sheer scale. Those fountains must be at least 100 feet high!
Wonderfulll!
So beautiful and powerful 😍🌋
Agree 🥰🌋
Wow fountain of lava
Always wanted to be able to see one erupt from a safe distance. Of course I live in wa state surrounded by volcanoes and I definitely don't want to see any of those go off in my lifetime! But I would love to be able to get down to Hawaii and check that out!
cool
Beautiful.
🤩😍
Don't fall in because the floor is, LAVA!!!
It a wonder the guardian is not blaming it on racism for erupting
🤣

Why the volcano doesn’t care about carbon emission?
Yeah... it should be fined don't you think...????
We could just stick a big catalytic converter on top of that sucker. And tell all the thieves.
The best thing about this KN episode was how diverse it was. You had a Mexican chef cooking Chinese food in an Italian restaurant.
Wha- what?

I mean its 1st December today, after the night of 30th November what do you expect, lava to spray out with all that buildup.
Aww!! Failed at No Nut November
Have anyone here seen the French language documentary movie from Canada Fire Of Love?
Gee....what are the tree huggers going to do? That volcano is spewing a massive amount of acid leaving a huge carbon footprint. Maybe the volcanoe should have to pay a carbon tax to off set its natural occurence.
Why so salty? Grow up.
I'm surprised this has not been headlined "climate change disaster"...! And what are the chances of compensation from Hawaii for all the fallout...? because we in the UK are being blamed for the things we invented, but the rest of the world choose to use.!!!!!!!!
