First time on your channel. Absolutely loved every aspect. Your build breakdown was really well done. The behind the scenes stuff though was perfect. Your mic sounds great, your editing was clear and concise, and the background music and game volume were both at great levels, making it easy to hear what you were saying. You didn't make a build guide, you made art 🎉

Really fun looking build going to give it a try myself. Great video!

The Infernal Rapier from Wyll quest also gives you Cambion once per long rest and you can free up the slot for a different spell.

Oh yeah, I'm assuming the summon would still be active after you swap the weapon out for the staff. Though it would be one extra step you'd need to do every long rest. If you don't have the ring/amulet, then that's a third option I suppose.

I really like this concept. Too bad it comes online pretty lategame. Maybe a good transition from a luminous early/midgame build.

The build still works good early game as light domain is amazing and spirit guardians unlocks at level 5. The main transition towards end game are more necromancy benefits with gear and level 6 spell summons (cambion/mummy). So, the roleplaying aspect gets better the later you are into the game.

Nice one. But Cleric3/Druid9 is probably a better summoner and melee damage dealer with Spore Druid. You get upcast Conjure Elemental which gives you a Myrmidon, Spiritual Weapon, Animate Dead upcast, 4 Fungal infestation zombies, minor Elemental and two more spawns from Conjure Woodland Being. Pick War cleric for some more melee of Tempest for Destructive Wrath Call Lightning.
Still a nice idea for a cleric gameplay wise.

Yeah the idea was to stay pure cleric for this, use the cambion, and try to only do fire/necro spell damage.

Yup, works just fine. I've done a similar build myself, focusing on radiant damage, a Deva summon with no undead-y stuff. Just an RP holy light build, but still very powerful.

What’s the staff that gets you permanent inflict wounds?

A wait never mind lol, cherishes necromancy
