A good way around this is that if a player gets chosen to be an All-Star in the previous year, if they are a free agent by the end of the season, teams would have to give them a minimum amount of money in their contract. So a player would get at least $15 million if they sign with another team if that player was an All-Star in the previous season. This would just prevent Superteams in general

Honestly Julius Randle might get to near Demarcus Cousins levels of production next season. NOT at Demarcus Cousins level, but 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists doesn’t seem unreasonable. He’ll also play way better defense, so that’s a plus.

Have an idea to possibly fix this and the issue of resting star players. What if the league labeled players A, B, C, D. For the sake of debate, they can make all top #20 players are A, #21-50 are B...so on. The league installs rules you can only have 3 “A” players on a team, 5- “B”, 6- “C”. Also, you can only rest 1 non injured “A” player per night.
