Getting to the beginning and end of this section of the trail is very easy as the start and finish are located on Taiwan Railways Neiwan Line (內灣線) which runs from Xinzhu Station (新竹站).
It trails starts at Jiuzantou Station (九讚頭車站) and ends at Hengshan Station (橫山車站).
